Turn a corner in this town and you can find anything.and I were contemplating another coloring exercise, and we decided this time on all black and white with minimal lines, similar (in principle at least) to Frank Miller's Sin City. Since Sin City uses only hard edged lines, I didn't use any soft edged brushes, only the wet media brush for the splatter. And of course I went with Miyuki again, check out the Doctor's pic of Rio here: [link]
Initially a pencil sketch, colored entirely in photoshop.

Ninja conference!
I had thought about using that line for my title - well, "Deadly little Miyuki" - but that seemed too easy, and of course used it for his pic first.

GAH! I totally forgot Miho and Miyuki start with the same sound!
I wasn't going to use "deadly little miho" since Rio isn't really 'little' (especially compared to Miyuki who's shorter and younger then her) and I thought you'd make a Miho reference... but then I was like "well Rio does end in an 'o' sound so it sorta rhymes, I'll do it anyway"... if you want I'll change my title so the Miho reference can go to one who deserves it let me know.

No worries - I decided against it mostly because it really seemed too obvious; oddly enough "Hotter'n Hell" would have been very appropriate for a devil hunter (or really a succubus) but now that they're both up here I don't think we should put ourselves to any extra effort over it.
I was thinking of using "Little Lyta Rodriguez grew up. She grew up and filled out" for the next one - it doesn't make sense (well OK, she's curvy now, but we've never seen her when she was little), but I wanted to use it somewhere.
