You can follow the exact same instructions using CS6! :3

It's literally a default Photoshop brush. Nothing special and nothing to download. Just follow the instructions in the tutorial to set up the brush.

Any suggestions as to what to do in regards to my brush options not being available? They are just kind of grayed out

Hi! When you try to change your brush settings, is the pen tool still selected? You can access all the brush options without having the actual brush selected, and when that happens, everything is grayed out. :3

This is awesome! I have one question though: It would not let me hit "stroke path", so I was wondering what I did wrong there? Or if there was any way to fix that?

Are you on the background layer? I don't think that can be unlocked. Make a new layer, which should already be unlocked. To lock/unlock it in the future, there's a little padlock icon at the top of the "layers" box. You can just click/unclick it.

I actually made about 30 layers with a bunch of different lines ^^'' I was filling in features like the eyes and such and I couldn't figure out how to do that all on one layer... and I found that the layers are actually not locked, but I'm using a mac for this so I might have everything on the wrong settings so that might have screwed it up a bit eheheh ><Β Β

This makes so much more sense now that I have read through this tutorial I was so confused as to what that function did before but this explains it better than the help sites that I have used in the past.

I love making vexel/vectors in Photoshop so I use the Pen tool quite a lot. Turns out there are some techniques for this tool that I didn't know of. Thanks! This is helpful.

Is it possible after a curved path to make the line automatically straight?

I'm not sure what you mean! *o* If your settings look like the ones in my tutorial, then making two points will automatically create a perfectly straight line. If you have made a curved path, you can click on the middle point(s) to make the line straight again. :3

I'm not really sure about how to get my settings right, as it looks pretty different in PS6. Could you describe what they'd be called to get the same settings as in this tutorial?
