No preloader sorry. I'm too lazy =_=;;A number of people have requested this... Some requested me to show how I make my flash animations and some requested me to do a coloring tutorial... so I kinda combined it into one... No animation tutorial in this one but it does show you how I make my graphics in Flash. The coloring/shading instructions can be applied to other programs too, just with different tools, so even if you're not drawing in Flash, the coloring and shading tutorial might still not be completely useless
Feel free to ask Qs and I'll try to answer if they haven't already been answered.
...warning, this thing is probably a grammar fail =_=;; I did it all in 1 day, at the end of a week where I've had less than 6 hours of sleep per night =__=;;;

Make sure you're in the "Paint inside" mode on when using the brush tool in Flash =]

colour has been something to avoid in Flash for me. But this helps a lot, I never actually though you could get lighting like that. I would have gone and made each frame in photoshop for that kind of lighting. (So this saves a bunch of time

Thanks! I used Adobe Flash CS3 (?) for this one. It doesn't have to be a specific program, pretty much any art program can use this method

Nah you don't have to. Especially during fast frame-by-frame action scenes. I do try to color like that for anything that stays on screen for a decent amount of time though

Make sure that you're using the bucket tool and not the ink bottle (you can press "K" repeatedly to switch between the two). Lemme know if that still doesn't work

Hmm... It might also be due to the settings for the bucket tool. After you select the bucket tool, look at the bottom of the tool bar. You should see a circle icon. Click on it and it should open up a box about closing gaps. Set it so that it closes small or medium gaps, and hopefully that'll work. Also make sure that your lines are indeed closed and that there aren't tiny gaps in between =]

Wow that's a very interesting tutorial........ I've already figured out how to achieve most of these effects, but the way you used them was very interesting. I also find it funny that you use the brush tool for the linework, since I usually prefer the pen tool. xD
