WARNING: Large file size!This is how I animate frame-by-frame ^^
This way everything keeps fluid and neat.

This is supposed to be a basic tutorial.
It would be soo long if I added all my tips and details :<
I was planning to do the hershey's holder tutorial next but I lost my folding paper ;_;'' OTL

Nice. What is the 1/3 method, if you don't mind my asking?
And how do you get sound to show up like that? Last I tried, it was just background and looped. <__<;

Instead of going for midpoints, you'll have to be visualing 2 points and you go 1/3 the way, not 1/2 :]
There's options where you can stop it from looping :0

Your workspace should already have the properties tab out on the open at start. Try reseting your workspace and it should be there :]
I know there's hotkey for it but I'm not exactly sure what that is :<

I've only used two versions of flash (Flash MX 2004 and Flash 8; currently using Flash 8) and they both had it :< Try ctrl + F3

So you have to draw all of it? What about motion tween? Although i never really could figure out how to get it to work for me....

Motion tween isn't that good for fbf because if you look at my most recent animation (anystar), you can see how some movements are really choppy :< It's cause I didn't use fbf u.u;; It depends tho on when and how you utilize it--it could actually be good at some point.
I haven't tried flash lipsyncing for over an year now so I'm probably not the best person you can go to for help ^^ ;; try looking online :]

I've always thought you had to draw a whole load of the movements like flip books >.>

I don't have flash, but the mac lab in my school does.

can you edit the music so it matches the length of the frames my frames stop but the music keeps going

As someone is learning flash at uni, this was suprisingly helpfull. Im trying to keep up to date with my flash and maya stuff, and this was helpful. Tis also great to see how people do different things in what order.
