Description As I promised, here is my second tutorial. This time I'd like to explain the way I clean my pencil linearts.
When they are finished I print them on the sheet of paper and start colouring them traditionally with my markers.
By the way, since some of you asked, I'm going to make a copic tutorial next :].

Thank you so much for your kind words. I'm very happy that my previous tutorial was helpful.

Credits: `Princess-of-Shadows for the texture, =anikakinka for giving me tips with a dodge tool :]

Oh O.o Thanks a lot! I was having lots of troubles with scanning my pencil linearts, because they always get really ugly and my friends never had this problem, doing the same things I do... I'll try this tutorial next time to see if it fixes the problem...

Also, I used this way of "copying" the drawing while I didn't have a light table! XD

A tip I have, I ofter use my mom's glass table as a light table, puting a light under the glass... and you can do that with an acrylic drawing board too...

Thank you. Yeah.. I know about a light table and I wish one day I got one.

fadeddreamss In reply to Red-Priest-Usada [2009-11-09 16:11:28 +0000 UTC]

It's not hard to "make" one... XD find an acrylic piece, not totaly transparent, it's better a diffuse one, and put a light under it, it's not the most comfortable light table, but at least it works ehuhaea

You can ask some artisan to make one too... it won't cost too much... my frind did that and uses her light table a lot. : )

Thankyou so much for making this for us, and making it easy to understand. Many tutorials, as great as they are, are rarely made for newcomers and seasoned artists both. Thanks again, it's greatly appreciated. :3

This is so great. <3333 I can never find a good balance in inking via pen/digital tools, so this'll be a really great relief for me. It'll let me be lazy, too. That's a bonus. |3

I sketch pretty heavily, so I wonder how this tutorial may help me.
I'm ready to try everything to make line art-ing take less time.

It usually takes me 4 hours to line a sketch with pens, so maybe this will speed things up!
