Hello ~!
I badly need help with this hair it seems to go through the head and I don't know how to fix it TTuTT)
Everytime she would dance anything fast or snappy moves, her hair glitches through her head. I can't find any tutorial regarding about this kind of problem. The hair is actually attached to the head but it just goes through (
Please help this poor soul

Hmmm. I think it has something to do with the head physic. Usually there is a sphere for the head so that hair wouldn't pass through the head. Check the hair physics and the head physics. with the hair physics, which ever type it is, the check box should not be marked. For example. The head physic is Type 1. which ever the hair physics are should not be checked. So if let's say the hair physics are Type 5. In the head physic check box number 5 should not be checked. And vise versa for the hair. Number 1 should not be checked.

Hello~ Thanks for noticing this poor soul
I tried your instructions and checked the physics of the hair and head, but the problem is still there. D"":
Are there any other solution for this?

I need a bit of help... I've done a hair swap with these models and when I move the eyes, it also moves the hair... Is there anyway to fix it? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

hmmm I think that either the hair isn't weighed correctly or the bones for the hair do not have the head as their parent bones.

I found that the bones to the hair was for some reason deleted, I then redid the whole model but now it has mega dragging issues... And I am so confused on how to fix it still, more so than ever now

Uhm... I hope it is alright if I post my problem here because it's not really hair related but you seem like you could help me out o.o
To my Problem: I tried making my own Model everthing worked out fine but there was only one last challenge... the clothes I tried differnt clothes but still I had problems I just want to know about two of them
First: I put a Dress on my Model and fitted on her and when I was finished(i also weighed the top) the skin or more to exact the Legs were going through the Skirt I tried many Tutorials but it didn't help me
second: I wanted to put a kimono on my Model put the Sleeve and the skirt ist wiggling around...
If needed i could send pictures
i hope you can help me

RitaLeader14 In reply to TheJJs [2018-09-14 20:29:08 +0000 UTC]
For the first one I think it has to do with the physics. If the legs go through the dress, the legs may not have physics at all or it does but the dress physics are probably set to pass through the legs.
Second the sleeve may be weighted to something else instead of the arm. Same with the skirt.

TheJJs In reply to RitaLeader14 [2018-09-14 21:14:06 +0000 UTC]
so to the dress: should i highlight the physics for the skirt and check the first box in the non collison tab or another box? oh, and the legs have physics
to the kimon: should i weigh the whole kimono on one Bone or on certain bones?
Thanks btw for the fast answer

RitaLeader14 In reply to TheJJs [2018-09-14 23:48:15 +0000 UTC]
For the dress depending on what physic group it is, group one must be unchecked.
For the kimono,if it has physics, weigh the glitches part to the bone near the glitches area. The sleeve should only be weighed to the arm.

I just noticed something in the body tab: the legs are green in the first square also they are bones i think? does it matter in the body tab if the first square is green yellow or orange?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
RitaLeader14 In reply to TheJJs [2018-09-15 00:16:48 +0000 UTC]
The dress physics should be the orange or moving physics. The leg physics should be static or the green physics.
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
TheJJs In reply to RitaLeader14 [2018-09-15 01:15:46 +0000 UTC]
the legs first square is green and the second has the same color like the other parts of the body so i guess everything is alright with the legs physics?
Now I tried looking around a bit and I only checked the darkorange ones which appears when i turn on the green next to the blue(the physics) and the legs only goes through when she is really strongly bending them but not when she's moving the legs "normaly"
So could i say the problem with the skirt is fixed? or is there still something to do so the legs never go through the skirt no matter how much i bend them?
Short edit: I looked at it a bit more and when she squats her legs still go through...
sorry if it's hard to unterstand but i just don't know how to call all these things o.o

RitaLeader14 In reply to TheJJs [2018-09-15 04:45:09 +0000 UTC]
I'm not too sure what you're trying to explain, but what I can tell you is that make sure the dress or skirt physics are labeled "Physics(orange)" instead of "bone(green)" or "bone+physics(yellow)" For each skirt physic, group one should not be checked. That way the physics will work and the legs shouldn't go through the skirt.

TheJJs In reply to RitaLeader14 [2018-09-15 15:05:07 +0000 UTC]
I looked at it but the skirt physics should be alright the first box is unchecked and only the purple one(which is the color of the skirt physics) is checked an the legs only have the dark orange checked which is somehow also for the skirt i think? but the legs still go through it
uhm if it's relevant it is a really long dress

RitaLeader14 In reply to TheJJs [2018-09-15 15:09:30 +0000 UTC]
Well I think that the legs may not be the right kind of physic. they are supposed to be group 1.

this is what happens with me:

all the bones haves the same parent, the lower body bone, no matter what I do, it just doesn't move, this happens since I used skirt plugin,it just moves with the "all parents" bone, please help me
EDIT: Ik is not related with hair, but is a physics problem, when it's off works normally

But when physics are on, that happen:

Well I checked all the bones and everything seems to be ok...I don't know if I have to delete the hair and import it again(aka restarting the model) But....the problem is...when I load my MMD model he hair does go a bit crazy and when I move the model somewhere OTHER than the center...the glitched hair stops(after registering the model's place) once I load another model(It appears in the center of MMD as ALWAYS) that models physics go a bit weird...and when i move the model close to my model(the glitched one)the physics are still weird...
IDK if there's something wrong with my model's hair physics in the center...but when I load her up to PMX(cuz that's what I have) and when I take her to the transform menu...her hair is glitched no matter WHERE I put her.
It's a bit complicated....
and all the physics seem to be in the right place...

RitaLeader14 In reply to Kaycilia [2017-12-27 04:06:03 +0000 UTC]
Hmm. It may seem like some physics aren't connected to the right bones. If you have a head physic that is stuck in the center, some hair physics could attach to it. I would recommend cleaning up physics of the hair and bones then reapplying it to your model.

Kaycilia In reply to RitaLeader14 [2017-12-27 18:45:05 +0000 UTC]
alright... the thing is that I found out is that there's another physic hidden in another physic and "maybe" that's probably what you said was right....so thank!

Ive been having so many problems everytime i get a base or hair or something something messes up immediately T.T and i dont understand why first i tried to make a Christmas character and her clothes came off and fused into her hair and then the hair i was trying to move kept getting stuck like legit it was dragging and i had it all selected and then somehow..this happened to her Head spun around

RitaLeader14 In reply to Sirenzombiemaid [2017-12-25 03:48:25 +0000 UTC]
Woah, I never seen anything like that. Usually if there are too many verticals, something like that could happen. I would recommend checking for hidden vertex by opening the material tab and selecting the bubble "View All" or whatever it says. Make sure you move you model out of the center(move up or down so it's always in the middle) Select all bones, joints and physics. Then delete all the extra vertex by going to edit and vertex and pick the last option. It delete's all selected vertex.

Seriously, can you explain me this.
I just made a new hair,
Doesn't matter what I do on model, but everytime when I want to add physics on hair, or long head accessories like bow with physics or something, it just attaches on stupid lower body bone AUTOMATICALLY, why?
Never used that bone at all. I adjusted it, so it could follow the other bones, but it still connects to lower part one, and follows phyiscs on that...
