Well just go back to the first hair bone and reattach it to the head. Put the head bone in the parent bone box of that one hair piece.

It does follow the bones without physics properly, but not when the physics are on. They just stand on the place. They only move with physics on low body part. Makes no sense
Not even changing the bone setting helps.

RitaLeader14 In reply to ayanemimi [2017-12-25 13:56:50 +0000 UTC]

Is it even weighed properly? Are the hair bones weighed to the hair or the lower body?

ayanemimi In reply to RitaLeader14 [2017-12-25 16:06:18 +0000 UTC]

So I weighted the hair on the main bone first, where you can move the whole model. then I weighted it to upper part bone (where the lower part bone is like on pic) then second upper part bone., + neck and upper neck bone, right in the head. Then I added physics to the hair.

No, I just did that before I added physics. Then I got that problem and reported it to youΒ

lol dude, you just need a full neck/a working one

it's like you attach a tshirt and you have only the hands, not the arms aswell

RitaLeader14 In reply to LadyPoodle [2017-12-06 01:23:36 +0000 UTC]

It might be weighed wrong or maybe the head and the neck bones may not be connected right. The face should be weighed 100% to the head. For the Neck, make sure the top of it connects to the head by weighing it red(100) then to purple(50) then to bluish purple(25).

It's ok. Weighing isn't my strong suit either. You could just delete the body and replace it. Like just delete the body layer.

It seems like the hair bones are not connected right. Make sure they connect to each other and that could fix the problem. Just make sure the bone that stretches out like that is connected to the previous bone.Β

Sometimes the eye bones need to back further but if the eyes move out of the head, they may not be connected with the head right. I have a tutorial about eyes here:Β MMD PMD/PMX Eye Bone Tutorial

The eyes should be bone type 5 and should have the head bone as their parent bones. The third box below the parent and child bones is where the number of the "both eyes" bone should go.

Make sure the ponytail bone is connected to the head bone. The head bone should be the parent bone. Also make sure the destination bone has the ponytail bone as its parent bone. Also make sure the ponytail bone child says bone instead of relative. Its a common mistake. Put the number of the destination bone in that box.

RitaLeader14 In reply to CocoaSensei [2017-08-30 07:38:45 +0000 UTC]

IT seems like the bones are way out of place with the fingers. You probably accidentally had the bones selected as you were moving parts on your model. Try moving the bones back to match up with the fingers.

There should be a parent bone and child bone box in PMX Editor. Parent and Link to > is what they are called in PMX editor. Make sure you put bone instead of offset/relative in the Link to.Β

I'm having an issue with a hair edit I have. The physics on the twin tails aren't moving, and when I move the head bone/neck bone, the bones move out of the twin tails. Please help me!Β

RitaLeader14 In reply to maikurial [2017-05-15 20:40:48 +0000 UTC]

The hair bones should be connected to the head bone. Also make sure the physics are connected with the hair bones. Either that or it's not weighed properly.

The neck and the head are not connected right. Make sure that the Neck is the Head bone's parent bone.

The head:Β ι

The Neck:Β ι¦–

Whatever number the neck bone is, make sure it's the parent bone of the head. For example, if the neck is number 14 and the head is number 12, put number 14 in the head's "Par bone box"
