My problem is when i import it. I put physics on the hair when it isnt on the model yet then after i have done putting physics, joints, body, and weigh it properly i saved it. Then when i import it the bones disappear only leaving one bone but the joints and physics a still there. BTW im putting physics on a ponytail

RitaLeader14 In reply to TsumTsumi [2017-04-30 13:59:27 +0000 UTC]
Make sure there isn't copies of the same bone because usually that's what happens when importing something if there are copies. For example, Let's say you have 3 hair bones named Hair 1, Hair 2, and Hair 3. You import something and it also has hair 1, 2 and 3. The new bones will disappear leaving the old bones.

When I move my hair to position it on my model, only the bones move and the actual hair stays in place. What should I do?

I don't think you selected the hair material layers. There should be a material tab on the model window on the top right. It should say Vert/Mat. Find the hair and select all its layers along with the bones, physics and joints.

I don't know what you mean. Do you mean that the hair won't move with its bones? If so, You have to weigh the hair with the bones.

the problem is, hair is doesn't have bones how can I add bones to hair? uhh I mean I'm pulling the arrows but hair is not coming. I dont know how can I explain this sorry ;^;Β Β

RitaLeader14 In reply to FeliciaHyperdeath [2017-03-21 20:30:42 +0000 UTC]
You just go to the bones tab and right click and add bone. Aline the bones to the hair. Then weigh the hair to the bones.

no... why are you using dots after every sentences? you look like you're talking so serious, please stop I'm starting to feel nervous ehe...Β Β and.. how can I attach a head to another body?
π: 0 β©: 1
RitaLeader14 In reply to FeliciaHyperdeath [2017-03-24 13:47:23 +0000 UTC]
What do you mean? I'm using periods after every sentence. Why is that making you nervous? Using a period is how to end a sentence. I don't understand why that's bothering you. Also if I was talking serious, I would have used bigger words. Also to add a head, clean it from all extra bones, physics, joints, vertex, ect, and then you move it out of the middle. Open up the body and then add the head. Move the head onto the body. Make sure to select all joints, physics, and bones.

I have a really big problem with opening .pmm files. When I try to open a file, MMD crashes and I never can open this file again. Please, can you help me? This was my favourite animation, I want to repair this.

RitaLeader14 In reply to Shizunoke666 [2017-03-11 15:56:50 +0000 UTC]
Well It happens to me too sometimes. I save the file and I leave it alone for awhile. When a model I used in that file was updated, I opened it and it crashed MMD. I found the solution however. You need to edit the model back to the old version that you used in the file. For example: I had a file that I was going to use to show case a model. I saved it but then I found that it was missing something. I edited the model and added something new to it. When I opened the file back up in MMD, it crashed. I then decided to get rid of the new thing I added to the model and saved the model again. I opened it up again and it worked. I saved everything I had like the motion, pose and camera. I then later decided to put the new thing back on and reload the motion To the model. I hope This helped. If you want me to make a tutorial, I can do that too.

Did you happen to update any of those other six models? If so, You might need to get rid of the last thing you added to them.

Shizunoke666 In reply to RitaLeader14 [2017-03-12 19:02:23 +0000 UTC]
I've edited nothing, seriously. I think there is something wrong in one of the models, when i upload it, it crashes mmd. I have uploaded this in the animation, but I didn't save this.

Hi! So I'm having some problems with the /very first/ model that I'm making. She's turning out fine but... The hair.... The bangs like to move around a lot, even when she's not. So... Advice?Β
π: 0 β©: 1
RitaLeader14 In reply to CheshireGaming [2017-03-06 22:11:14 +0000 UTC]
Are the bangs twitchy? If so, Take the head physic that the hair physics are attached to and reduce the size of the head physic so the bangs aren't twitchy anymore.
