I have a question, inside PMX my models hair looks perfect, but when I put her into MMD and load a motion/pose her hair doesn't move with her head and it ends up just floating where the model was loaded.

Then I don't think the hair is connected to the head correctly. Make sure the starting bones to the hair have the head bone as their parent bone. Only do that with the first bones that start the hair.

But how do I find those exact bones? Its all in Kanji (I'm a newb so I don't know any secret way).

The head bone is labeled with this symbol:Β ι Β
Put the number of the head bone in the parent bone box for the starting hair bones.

Hello! I need some help please! Everytime I just import the ponytail I'm using into pmx, and then once i fit it on the head, I save it, then go to test it out in mmd. And thats where the top part of the ponytail starts glitching around! I dunno what to do please help

Well maybe the head physic is too big. Select it and reduce the size.

Hello again! Unfortunately, it did not work. The hair alone does not glitch. But when i fit it onto the base head, thats when it does an extremely crazy glitch. I dunno what to do now

It might be extra vertex. Select everything including bones, joints, and physics and move your model out of the center. Then go to the material window in the model window and then press view all/more. That shows invisible vertex.Β

haaaa....Maybe the physics for the ponytail are too big. Maybe reduce the sizes of those physics.

Ok so i resized again, and it did not work. Where the ponytail starts, theres a small piece glitching inside of the head. This only happens when i attatch it to the head. When its the ponytail by itself, its completely fine

RitaLeader14 In reply to Tdiaz707 [2017-02-10 22:28:26 +0000 UTC]
Hmm This ponytail is stubborn! Maybe try cleaning the ponytail of unnecessary vertex, bones, physics, joints, ect. I can't seem to pinpoint this problem.

I dont know if this is just a problem with my pmx? Because with everything i put on the model, it glirches out like crazy. I dont know the source of this problem

I'm not sure either. Perhaps try PMD first then convert it to PMX?Β

I need some help. I'm making a model and idk if it's the physics on the skirt of her dress, but the skirt curls up into a ball in the model. Am I doing something wrong?

Is it when physics are on or off?
π: 0 β©: 1
CreepyNightcoreDemon In reply to RitaLeader14 [2017-01-17 22:59:13 +0000 UTC]
The skirt would stretch and rise up to the model's stomach and chest when the physics are on. When it's off, it's like nothing had happened.

do you know how to fix this disaster?
If I delete those then it will break the hair physics -_-

You should reattach those joints to the hair physics.

You should find the bones that they are supposed to be connected to first.

well I didn't understand too much but it would be nice if you could help with a model, the model's hair back don't move with the body and the creator of these hair said that we only have to: ''just change the main bone of the hair's to your model's head'' but I don't know how to do that.
If you do...could you help me please?Β
π: 0 β©: 1
RitaLeader14 In reply to Emily02hernandez [2016-12-09 21:30:02 +0000 UTC]
Well I don't fix models anymore, due to people making me upset in the past, but what the creator meant was put the number of the head bone into the parent bone box of the hair.

Do the bones look like Merodi's hair bones or similar to her hair in 4 or 5? Meaning that the bones do not look like they panel 8. Also if you didn't understand matching up with the IK bone, I meant that you have to drag it to look like it's connected to the IK bone but it doesn't.

MMD-Anime-Bunny In reply to RitaLeader14 [2016-09-28 17:32:18 +0000 UTC]
It's on it's normal place where it's supposed to be, and the bones are connected correctly...
Well, if the physics are on, there's no problem

The hair wont move with the body. When I rig it, it lloses its physics. When I change the parent bone to the head, nothing happens.

Yes. Everything is fine, it just refuses to follow the head.
