Description
The Garrett Gathering, Manchester Science Museum.Here we have a Lancashire & Yorkshire Railway Class 25 a 0-6-0 steam locomotive No. 957. This was at the Garrett Gathering advertising the Keighley and Worth Valley Railway.
18-70mm Lens.

I really like this engine type but it looks very similar to the Caledonian Railway "McIntosh 812" 0-6-0s. Either way this is one of the reasons why the UK makes better Steam Engines then the US. Unique designs based on the line and need. Not massed produced locomotives.
I can find nothing wrong with this pic except for the fact that the rails look to far in to the ground to support the wheels.
All in all This is one of the few UK loco's that keep me interested in Trains at all. Thats all I got now. Thanks for reading

I could contradict you on locomotives, but each country has it's own style to it, Continental Europe, England, Russia, all have a certain look to them.

She's an absolute beauty, I saw her last at the KWVR Spring Gala, back when I only had my compact camera, and have been aiming to return with the Canon ever since, this being a prime example why.
