lolz im a little slow with the newer version of paint , for the newer ms paint program were is invert colors I can only see invert selection which just selects the whole picture not the colors:3

actually you can with the newer one to to invert colors while having the pic selected right click on it and it should come up

Zinnestheyl In reply to Theinnocent1 [2011-01-20 05:20:33 +0000 UTC]

yea I don't like the newer version of MS its not as user friendly. The whole right and left mouse usage has been shot.

Hm, I meant that you can assign the right and left mouse clicks with different colors so you could color with two colors without going back and forth between the color choices. Not inverting.

Example.
Coloring a stripped ribbon, light blue and gray.
I can assign the left: Light Blue
Right: Gray

paint can.
and color each line just going across.

You agree with me! The brushes are cool. But really the shortcuts for the mouse isn't as great as the old one. Thank goodness my computer has the old MS, my bro has the newer one, and I had to edit a picture on there once. @.#

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Arigela In reply to S-Nova [2010-07-30 01:45:41 +0000 UTC]

Well i didn't exactly fix it xD uhh i saved the pic in to a jpg format and the program told me i had to restart it and then i could make it so the outlines were black but it now it has kind of weird that when ever you try to color next to the outline it has a pixel proplem so i cant use the bucket tool but i can color normaly (witch is gona take for ever >.<)

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

S-Nova In reply to Arigela [2010-07-30 12:15:28 +0000 UTC]

So It doesnt work anymore?
Try saving it to a monochrome image, then save it to a PNG again, it should get rid of that pixel problem. x]

You don't have to have a scanner to do this, I take a pic of my art from my phone. I do it this way:

1. Put pic on Paint.

2. Do lineart in WHITE.

3. Set to black and white.

4. Go back into color and then your done!

Hoped that helped!
