Description
FULL VIDEO TUTORIAL(7:34 long)
This tutorial is meant for those with limited access to markers or can't afford too many (these puppies are expensive!). Each skin tone only uses three different markers, and there is a little overlap between colors.
I walk through the basics, cover lots of tips/advice, and offer 9 different skin tones. Should be very helpful for beginners If you use this tutorial, feel free to show me what you've made!
If you found this, or any other tutorial, helpful, please spread the word and share them with your friends x3 That really helps me out and I'd super appreciate it!
If you want to see a few extra colors , the full scanned chart , as well as the lineart of this dude, it's already available for my patrons over on my Patreon page: www.patreon.com/sambeawesome?t…
See all my video tutorials here
Thanks for lookin'!

Be on the lookout for coupons or sales. Buying online is insanely cheaper than buying from a store, especially if you can buy them during a sale. If not, other alcohol markers are out there and available too, and watercolors are another great substitute ^^ Regardless, best of luck to you!

Thank you! They're a lot of fun if you get the chance, but if not, there are quite a few similar alternatives

Yeah, normaly I color my stuff with the Color Grips with aquarell effect from Faber-Castell...
do you have any suggestions on "which set or brand" to get when it comes to copics?

If you want the best bang for your buck, ciaos are the cheapest and are just as good as the sketch, if you're going for Copics. They can be refilled too, like all other Copics. The only downside is that they don't come in as many colors, but they still come in plenty to work with
If you want another brand, the best thing to do is really consider the quality and price. Not many brands offer refills like Copics do, which massively decreases the prices of Copics. Baylee on YouTube made a video on alternatives, though her conclusion was ciaos. Of course, she didn't compare /every/ alcoholic marker, and new brands pop up quite often.
I only have experience with Copics, so I can't give you much from my personal experience xD Looking up reviews and comparison blog posts and the like should help you

Never used them. I've only ever used Copic and Crayola markers.
