A little tutorial for you all~!!Yes, gradient in MS Paint. >u<
If there's anything you don't understand, just ask me, and I'll explain it as best as I can.

This is amazing! How did you figure this out? I found out some things on my own with MS, but I never thought one could make a gradient! Heh, I just normally upload my art to DA muro and use the blend tool.

ok in the windows 7 version of ms paint, click on your picture, click resize to the numbers in the tutorial (1 and then 500) on the top section of the options in the resize box that says horizontal. you must click the picture first don't just resize or it'll mess up. and finally make it what size you want

Do you have windows 7?? If so, that's why the tools are different. But it's still possible. Just do the color thing she did until the stretch and skew. If you want to do that, take the select tool. Go on the draw area then right-click it. You'll see a few options. Select the second last, and there you can 'stratch and skew'. But don't forget to turn of the 'preserve height- aspect ratio' or it'll just go wrong. Hope this helps.
