You are welcome! There are a lots of possibilities with this technology: you can make a mask or something entirely different.
Regarding boots: the best method for beginners is a duct tape form. Wrap your doll's foot in food wrap tightly, then wrap it in duct tape, draw desired shape with marker, carefully cut the pieces apart. I use another method but it can't be clearly described.

I have seem tutorial on using tape for boot maing. Hmm... the shape is in 3-D and do I have to cut them so that it can lay on a 2-D leather and then piece up again in 3D? After seeing your method, I begin to think making the front part of the boot with this technique. In this case, will a thinner leather works?

Yes, you understood the method correctly! Leather may stretch a bit so it helps to make shapes that are not completely flat. It may take some trial and error though.

OMG, I went to check the leather in my country and they are so expensive. A square size 1 X 1 foot is close to $20!! Too expensive for trial and error.

Yes, new leather is expensive, try to search for recycled leather items in second hand stores.

This is very helpful!
Thank you for the great tutorial.
I suppose it can also be applied to other characters? Like Zack for example, or generally any character with shoulder-plates.
