Day 8 of 10 days of desserts to celebrate the upcoming holiday season! Today's dessert is banana cream pie. Normally I really don't care for most banana desserts, except for bananas foster and fried plantains/bananas. While we were having brunch, we asked the waiter which dessert he recommended, and he said the banana cream pie was by far the best. We gave it a try, and were pleased we went with his recommendation! This was probably the only banana cream pie I ever actually enjoyed.

The description on the menu says, "This cream pie is BANANAS! No, really. It's classic banana cream pie with a touch of butterscotch ice cream." I don't know if they know what a "touch" is though because that scoop of ice cream is half the size of the pie slice...
