Paul Says:Sorry for the delay, folks. Shawn's had this page drawn for weeks, but "real work" has been keeping me from coloring and lettering it. Anyway, here it is.

ok cool. I just didn't know it's been sitting here for over a year and I was hoping it wasn't going to be like your other project that stopped.

The tough thing is Paul and I are getting a lot of paying work these days. It's a matter of finding the time.

Paul and I have been too busy with paying work. It's more than likely going to be a good long while before we get back this. Unless you know, someone wants to pay us to finish it...

Not shelved at all. Paul and I have just been swamped with paying work. (See... you do well and people respond...what?) More, very soon. The ending is completely fantastic. Trust.

So, I just bailed on my deviant watch to read this whole thing. It's so fascinating to sit and think about how Sarah Jane and the others must look from the outside; not something someone who idolizes the character like me would often do. This is very clever, very well-written, and and very nice to look at, too. I eagerly await the next installment.
I should probably go back to the previous installment to leave the comments about the writing for Mr. Hanley, but I'm assuming he'll find these comments, too. Maybe I'll just get him on the next page. That should give you incentive to post it! I kid.

FYI - out of Dads SAS Squad all are gone now,his platoon only has 3 remaining - all due to cancer related illness (agent orange) apart from 3 (suicide due to PTSD).
a recent survey over here found that much like asbestos, agent orange and its effects will be with us for decades to come EVEN LONG AFTER THE VETS ARE GONE...
like you i have seen too many 'Diggers' go, but the effect on the NOK and their children is something else entirely.
im the eldest of 7 (4B 3G),
of us we have all had either cancer ops or scares (benign tumours),
the girls have have had miscarriages, while the boys wife's have all had the same thing happen as well (those that are married).
sorry for the ramble -

I came across the last page by chance, recognized the art, and started from the beginning. Then I had to go back and read all of the comments to be sure that I caught all of the references that I could comprehend. My local PBS station follows The Doctor on Thursday nights with Hustle, so I actually recognized those characters on my own. On this page the panel with Wilf includes a fellow who could resemble Danny Blue, who appeared as Elton on Doctor Who.
I look forward to the next page, as does my daughter, Sarah Jane.

BRILLIANT. The idea of the Fantasy Bazaar being next door to Black Books of course prompts the notion of multiple Bill Baileys --which in turn prompts a couple of scenes from the movie "Hot Fuzz" in which Bailey plays multiple roles ("nobody tells me nuffin"), which in turn prompts idle wonderings about his character from last year's "The Doctor, The Widow and the Wardrobe."
Your attention to detail is stunning and this story gets ever more amazing. It goes without saying that these pages are now bookmarked under "Favourites" and that you WILL have an eagerly paying customer when it is complete and hard copies are made!
