Pink Floyd:Nick Mason, Roger Waters, Syd Barret, David Gilmour, Rick Wright.
If I went deaf, I’d be devastated because I’d never be able to hear Pink Floyd again.
I’m trying to think of a comment to say about Pink Floyd without turning it into a five thousand word essay on how much I love them.
As I did with the Queen image, I’ve drawn the surviving band members as they look today (although Nick’s hair should have more silvery grey) and I’ve drawn Syd Barrett as so many remember him.
Everytime I do a Pink Floyd drawing it seems like some talentless fuckwit releases another horrible cover/remix of a classic Floyd song… it really sickens me, I felt physically ill when I heard the latest offering. Why must these idiots butcher classic songs from people so much more talent than they’ll ever be? Because they can’t create something beautiful, they have to destroy something that is?
I can't ever fully explain how much this music means to me, I think it's something you have to experience for yourself with your own style of music before you can understand....

Awesome. I was able to tell which Members were which without looking! ^^ I'm a Pink Floyd super fan as well. And yeah I agree that I hate when people butcher their songs. Another thing I hate is when P2P filesharing networks release their songs... like a LOT of places call Another Brick in the Wall Part 2 "We Don't Need No Education" and also, there's a song called "House of the Rising Sun" by a band called Frijid Pink, but it's put under the name Pink Floyd. I knew it wasn't Pink Floyd as soon as I listened to it.
I have tons of bootlegs and unreleased songs if you're interested.

Haha, I remember I downloaded that Frijid Pink song once too. And yeah I get annoyed with the misnaming of songs too.

went to the pink floyd experience a few days ago: amazing! blew my mind away. i was expecting some lame covers where they skip out on all of the harmonies and don't bother to play the synthesizer or something, but it was amazing. light show and all ;D

thanks... I usually have trouble getting my cartoons to like the people I want them to look like too... I'm never quite sure when I've succeeded.
