Great tutorial but I gotta question! I made my first ever stamp here=>[link] but the preview is blurry. Why?

SparkLum In reply to JediSandwich [2011-04-18 01:25:54 +0000 UTC]
Because your stamp's canvas is larger than 99x56px, it has a huge buffer of transparent area around it

There is really not enough information on working with layers on this. Could you elaborate on that please?

This tutorial assumes that you have a basic knowledge of GIMP and how layers work.

Dark-Skater-Girl [2011-01-05 04:49:25 +0000 UTC]
I have a question. I was using a template that included a drop shadow for the stamp, I added an animated figure to the stamp and when it's tima to save that shadow is erased or changed into some pattern or such.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean

Dark-Skater-Girl In reply to SparkLum [2011-01-05 17:21:39 +0000 UTC]
Ok, you know some stamp templatas include a drop shadow for example: [link] When I added an animation to it and tried to saved it, that shadow got lost or replace by a pattern or such. I want to know how to prevent this from happening.
