I have two questions How to Grayscale the texture layout without having other layout turns grey? I found the Grayscale at the menu Image > Mode > Grayscale but when I click it, all of my stamps layers turned grey?
Couldn't find another button for it either
How to create borders around the font? Have been wondering about this

Assuming GIMP 2.6.10, go to Colors->Desaturate
As for Borders, I'll make a tutorial for that later. You have to do it yourself D:

Will take note for that!
Draw around the font, you mean?

Basically what I do is copy the font layer *below* the main font layer, turn it the opposite color (or some other color, you can lock the Alpha for that and then draw on it) and then move it around and put a blend mode on it.

Copy, change colour or lock Alpha. Draw. Blend Mode. The Blend Mode is the Blend Tool or something else?

Layer blend mode, sorry D:

Hi! I just want you to know that I remade two of my stamps using this tutorial, and I like them a lot more now! They're so much more appealing and easier to read now.

You can animate in GIMP, but it's a bit tricky
I'll be making a tutorial for animated stamps at a later date
