Here's Milo and his father, Copper, in the early morning walking to the community farm to prepare for the upcoming trip. In this scene, I plan to have a 2 1/2 Dimensional Background. The perspective of the background changes as we follow the characters. I've spent a lot of time on this background so far. Probably 20+ hours. It's wide and has dozens and dozens of layers.Related content

Me too! I actually did some tests with the foreground area and the house up front and it's working out pretty well. Since it is fall, I'm going to add some leaves on the ground too. I now have to assemble the destination part of the pan and then after that I can animate the whole background. The pan is about 20 seconds long.

Technically, yes, Everything I drew in Flash at one point or another. I had just finished (or mostly finished anyway), one point of view of the background for this scene and decided to pop in and pose out both Milo and his father to see if it all worked. I've been updating my progress on chapter 2 here and there since I released chapter 1.
