Description

Before I say anything else, PLEASE DOWNLOAD FOR FULL VIEW!

Anyways, I present to you the 2013 version of my, yet another flawed and very inaccurate anatomy guide! XDD

I decided to make another version of the old anatomy guideline because I think it needs some changing. I would supposed to finish this a lot earlier ago, but I was busy with requests. ;w;

Take not that note everything in here has to be followed---I am still learning from real life, so you might as well do the same instead I'm still learning GAH

Critiques are deeply appreciated.

By the way, RDJ photo reference is found in google <3

Thank you so much for this tutorial! Means a whole lot to us beginner artists XD

Thanks so much.
But I advise you still have to learn from real life instead relying too much on this. This is just a sheet of tips, not the full-blown real thing. But thanks anyway! ^^

You're more than welcome, dear
Well don't need to remind me about that one, indeed. Just pretty much any tutorial/how-to-draw books told us to draw from real life and learn from it instead of relying on books only XD And you're more than welcome, once again

I don't really think you should be out giving advice if you're still unsure about your skills yourself. There are a lot of flaws here, plus overall the bodies are very stiff.

I appreciate that you're practicing, but really I would only give advice if you know it to be tried and true.

also....boobs aren't made of muscle at all haha. They're just fat.

stardazzle In reply to turnipsss [2013-05-13 02:22:21 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, thank you for pointing it out.
It's just me and my ambitious artist self doing. I know everything here is wrong. But again, thanks for at least taking the time to comment. I appreciate it, and I'll try to learn more correctly in the future.

Yep, I am just that ignorant to know that.

Actually, there's a good amount of muscle in boobs too; there has to be for breastfeeding to work lol.

CeoOlsson In reply to Ethyria-Moreleye [2013-05-13 02:24:51 +0000 UTC]

There are no muscles in breasts besides the normal chest muscles identical to males, which are not used in breastfeeding.

When I stand up mine reaches like mid thigh? They look rightish to me.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

CeoOlsson In reply to Peaniko [2013-05-13 01:33:52 +0000 UTC]

It pretty much appears that way if you aren't standing with your back straightened out, even then there are people with longer arms, but most commonly the wrist reaches the anterior superior iliac spine of the hip bone (the pointy part you can normally see and feel above your legs) <: But yea every person is build differently! Even my boyfriend has super long arms and legs.

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

Peaniko In reply to CeoOlsson [2013-05-13 03:40:53 +0000 UTC]

Nah, I stand straight as a pole (Or as my mom says, like I have one shoved up somewhere unpleasant lmao) But my wrist hits about... eh crotch height if you were to draw a line actually and my finger tips hit at a about mid thigh, perhaps a bit further. However I do know I have disproportionally long arms for my height. So not quite as long as tutorial, looking again they do seem to be too long, but I think I have a build like your bf there haha.

This is pretty great. You're missing one female shape though. The "banana" shape. Small boobs and small butt.

And I love your thing on the boobs. Made me laugh.

Sorry, I didn't thought of that, that's because that was all the shaped I knew at the time. Thank you for pointing out.

I like your style a lot! But I couldn't help but notice that all the body shapes for men were really different, while the ones for women were basically the same (super thin with a thigh gap but with large breasts). Some actual body diversity would be really cool to see.

stardazzle In reply to mokokacho [2013-05-13 02:16:33 +0000 UTC]

Thanks
Yeah, I'm still not that profound with different shapes for women yet, but I'm working on it. Thank you for pointing it out1 ^^

Hey! That's a great guide! It goes right to the point that people get confused and mistaken while giving important notions of gender differences and geometrical references. Lot of people will be thankful. Great job!

stardazzle In reply to Cryuz [2013-05-13 02:15:44 +0000 UTC]

Thank you!
But to be honest, as it says in the tin, this is very inaccurate, and I advised to study anatomy by means of observing real life. But thanks anyway.

Please don't XD These are just tips; you better learn to draw from real life if you want to draw realistically.

I draw noses like my own most of the time.
