Description
This song has been sticking inside my head when I was drawing this: www.youtube.com/watch?v=nSXlkc…Let's disregard the comic plot timeline and draw some sci-fi prothean and sci-fi oravores.
This is Vahana (Prothean race, Exemplar of Protection) and Alancier (Oravores race, Exemplar of Vengeance) before the Prothean Reaper War.
They're bviously fighting against something, not sure what it is. They've fought so many wars even the creator had lost count.
It's just good ol' times of pure badass-ness and no politics and all those crazy stuffs, life was simple.
So they're war-buddies, like I've said.
This inter-species liaison just has to work, Javik, stop disapproving.
EDIT: Added more action elements into it so it looks like they're fighting instead of just posing.

OH GOD.
Hmm.
I must be some sort of psychic.

Well Dragon Age is still Bioware so maybe some sort of residual DA leaked into your brain from ME

But I never played DA nor have watched any in-game footages.
That's the extremely weird part.
Well I designed the oravores based on goat + armadillo + dragon. I took inspiration from stegosauruses in designing his back (they function in similar ways, too). I guess that's probably why.

And you should play DA. Once you finish your exam of course

Some of the stores here still sells it with the original price.
I'll need to find one that's cheaper, either that or get a used one.

I understand.
I would've get 360 if they got a smaller controller. They one they had now is too big for my hands to hold on to, and those tiny buttons....

FSEffect In reply to StellarStateLogic [2012-05-27 16:23:55 +0000 UTC]
The 360 controller is too big? How tiny are your hands?
Personally I got the lot on PC because a) cheaper b) M+KB >>>>>> controller for RPGs and shooters and c) I build me own gaming rig so graphics are better

StellarStateLogic In reply to FSEffect [2012-05-27 16:56:29 +0000 UTC]
Heh, I don't know if this is considered "small"... My hands are like about just a little bit shorter than 6 inches if we're measuring from the tip of my middle finger to the bottom of my palm. The only good thing about this is that I can use my palm as a form of measurement (approximating stuffs by a unit of 6 inches) :3
I've actually also built my own PC to be geared towards the digital painting/livestreaming activities. It should've work perfectly with gaming but I'm just that much of a PC gamer myself.

FSEffect In reply to StellarStateLogic [2012-05-27 18:29:39 +0000 UTC]
It's only an inch smaller than my hand so it's not that small
As for PC gaming I recommend this [link]
Also not responsible if you do get Civ 5 and end up still playing the same game at 4 o'clock in the morning on Tuesday

StellarStateLogic In reply to FSEffect [2012-05-27 18:44:23 +0000 UTC]
I just have a hard time pressing those darn little buttons, PS3 controller is, well, more pressing-friendly especially to players who are addicted to tapping a certain button non-stop.
Civ 5 huh... Actually I was tempted to get Civ 4 when it came out... VERY tempted, but somehow I didn't. I got the OST and absolutely love it, it's weird I didn't play the game.

FSEffect In reply to StellarStateLogic [2012-05-27 19:15:54 +0000 UTC]
I don't mind the buttons at all, 360 be one of my favourite controllers, with the d-pad being the only major let down.
Civ 5 is kind of like the hexagonal and slightly simpler version of Civ 4. Not that it made much of a difference in the number of hours I played on both: I have 328 hours logged on Civ 5, I can't imagine how many more were spent on Civ 4
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
StellarStateLogic In reply to FSEffect [2012-05-27 20:47:41 +0000 UTC]
Yes, that D-pad bugged the hell out of me.
And I actually have a hard time pressing that X button (and Y button as well) on the 360 controller... because my right thumb just somehow couldn't reach far enough.
328 hours heh, I'll try very hard to retain myself from the addiction.

FSEffect In reply to StellarStateLogic [2012-05-27 23:24:37 +0000 UTC]
Well definitely don't have X+Y button issue you're having, maybe you should attach blue tac to extend the reach
And once you play Civ I think you'll have "one more turn syndrome" before you realize it
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
StellarStateLogic In reply to FSEffect [2012-05-28 03:36:21 +0000 UTC]
I'd rather not, because the blue tac would might ended up being stuck on the tiny little button.
Yeah I understand that "one more turn syndrome" deeply. There are games that are just too addictive to be there.

Ah, they are romantically involved, but they don't intercourse. Because obviously... physiology doesn't cooperate, you know. :3
I actually got the joke, and I thought it was funny in a bad way. Like my response was "oh my god that's just bad" and laugh the hell out of it. I knew I didn't type the way which reflected my lmao part, because I tried to collect myself when replying to your joke...
I'm actually face-palming and laughing at the same time.

Well you don't HAVE to draw it. XD
There's an interspecies romantic relationship in my original story too and while I do imply that there is sex, I don't plan on actually showing it. Maybe a small panel of intertwining fingers on a bed or something sappy like that.

In terms of a story it is much more unique. It is more of a character drama than anything. But yes, total lack of original environments and everything make it a little bit more difficult to play!
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
StellarStateLogic In reply to Mizutanitony [2012-05-26 03:28:25 +0000 UTC]
Hmm, I'm okay with character drama if it's done in a ME2 fashion, like having a character reoccurring and consistent with his/her role in assisting/rivaling each characters.
Lacking original environment has always been an issue in creating "immediate" sequels, I don't know where in the timeline does DA2 set in relation to DA, but yeah...
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Mizutanitony In reply to StellarStateLogic [2012-05-26 06:20:27 +0000 UTC]
Actually dragon age 2 starts off at te start of Dragon Age 1. But splits off and follows the character Hawke in the city of Kirkwall on the other side of the sea as you struggle to regain your family's lost place in nobility and you get swept up in the ends that ends up causing the internal collapse of the Chantry and another war! Roughly takes around 10 years...though no one changes clothes or gets older...kind of gross!
