Description So really, it all started after I stumbled across this page on Wikipedia ---> [link]

I was intrigued by the idea that the average of many faces tends to be more attractive than a single image. By morphing together many faces, they were able to create a composite that was more attractive than the parts. So I thought to test this myself.

By taking 18 portraits from around dA, I mapped out the faces in the Sqirlz Morph program. I used 38 different points on each face (I can list them out later if anyone really cares) and formed the final composite that you see above.

I think she's pretty damn attractive, don't you?

The 18 faces are varied in appearance. Some were redheads with freckles, some were dark-haired girls with light complexion, some were brunettes and blonds with tanned skinned, there was an Asian woman and a couple girls who I would deem as less than attractive. But together, they all average out to this attractive face.

Amazing shit, no?

Please leave any comments. I think this is a pretty fascinating thing and I may do more in the future. If you've got suggestions for me to do, I'd love to entertain requests. Thanks for looking.

I read about this in National Geographic or something like that a while ago. It's very intriguing

You should try it out with mixing faces from all over the world and with men's faces. Or check out how only less attrctive girls will end up.

The program actually has an morph animator, that shows the faces morphing into the composite.

I'd upload it if I can figure out how to shrink the filesize, since it's 12 megs right now.
