the average page looks a lot like these. stream of consciousness drawing, really.EDIT
ACK why does JPG hate ballpoint pen. :[ the pencil drawings look fine, but the ballpoints... ugh! it gave it an interesting bluesy graphic effect that I wasn't going for, so that's kinda cool, but this particular pen was sensitive like anything and a lot of the subtle soft little lines got lost in the BLEACHEDNESS. grr. :[ ohwell.
kinda makes me want to just grayscale everything the next time I upload ballpoint sketches. but I enjoy the blueness. D:

it's like. even your sketches are awesome. x.x every time I get a sketchbook it's just filled with ugly little doodles ghat never see the light of day again... and if I draw the smallest thing on a page, I HAVE to go to a new page to draw. xP I'm OCD like that.
and you sure do draw a lot of whippets! x3 I usually just sketch floppy eared mutts.

aww, it's just a matter of keeping going sometimes I think. I have days where I like nothing that comes out of my pen or pencil. x.x; sometimes it just takes you a while to warm up and hey, every doodle no matter how small is PRACTICE. 
yeah I do. they're the natural thing that appears when I'm not really thinking about things since they're what I know best. but I like drawing my characters too. ^^

YES I drew a mouse finally. I've never been particularly interested in rodentia, but hey it is fun to try something different once in a while and I want to draw them again with refs this time. :3 I am glad you like Swift and my faces. xD I'd like to believe my people are improving. :B

Those Bitsy badges are so cute!!!
The "wide angle" ones are the two doggers at the very bottom - the one that's all suave and sleek, and the other that's sweetly asking for attention. It's like they're up close to the "lens" of the camera. ^^ At least, that's how I saw 'em.

You can find exactly what your animals are if you enter your birthday here: [link] As to what each of them symbolise, well that requires a little more digging. I haven't yet found a site that lists everything concisely (most sites just tell you your zodiac by your birth year only), but let me tell ya, I just looked at those animals and elements, and they just fit. it's all facets of my personality that I could recognise.

Aww, but that one doesn't explain what they mean! Phooey. The wikipedia site for Chinese Zodiac is actually quite informative -- I just don't know how to use it! On that site you linked, which is the primary? What's the difference between the top and bottom row of boxes?
(I really am exceptionally interested in this kind of thing, I love personality quizzes and trivia. Both for myself and for creating believable characters when I write).
Drawing from different angles is really difficult though! You do it so well. <3
This is the last semester of night classes I'll be taking. It's too much stress on top of the full time work. Getting rid of that should help out a lot. My stress levels have shot up incredibly since I started the class - it's taking me more free time to wind down and try to calm myself because of it.
Once it's over, I can go back to more pleasant pasttimes. =]

Oh gosh. Okay, I guess it wasn't as immediate for you as it was for me then xDDDD The top row of boxes, as you say, is the elements and the bottom row is the animals. I was born on 18th June 1986, my day sign is the water snake, my month sign is the wood horse, my year sign is the fire tiger. I'm afraid much of what goes into Chinese astrology is a mystery to me. I mean come on, most people don't even know that there are elements and other animals involved than your birth year!
[link] This site explains what your birth year sign means, but no more than that. I had to dig around a bit more to find more info on the other animals and elements. I only wish I knew what my hour sign was, but that's a question for my parents. hee.

HEE. I told you that was pretty accurate. ;3 One of my friends is also a fire rabbit, and her fursona is a cat. In Vietnam, they use the sign of the cat instead of the rabbit. so that was pretty cool too.
