When using my tutorials or techniques explained in my tutorials all I need is that you say or write "Inspired by Talty" somewhere on the description, that's all I'm asking for. A link back to my gallery or tutorial is appreciated, but not necessary. You can make anything in my tutorials for personal or commercial purposes (yes, that means you can sell what you make) but you can't claim these techniques as your own. No redistribution, reposting or repacking of my tutorials, images, text or any part of them is allowed. They can't be translated to other languages without my permission (ask me about it). FREE TUTORIAL, NEVER TRY TO SELL IT.

Sorry for the extremely large file! I swear, it seems like my tutorials keep getting bigger and bigger...

~thinkpastel had a wonderful idea and used circle templates (the kind used for drafting) instead of the washer! [link] She says that she can work any scale up to 1:4, so you can try that too!

I finally finished this tutorial! It feels like it took me forever

I hope this is understandable I added many photos and less text, it seemed like a good idea but now I'm not sure... maybe I didn't explain enough

I think it's implicit, but anyway: the measures I gave are only for reference! Don't feel restrained by my instructions - use a washer of any size you want! Also, I don't have cutters (yet) but use any cutter you want and make plates with beautiful shapes!

Please show me what you can do using this tutorial! I would really really love to see your plates with or without food Go crazy!

that's awesome
thank you soooo much it's a really great tutorial, really good to follow and easy to understand
finally I'm able to make plates for my donuts
two tiny questions:
first: what kind of caps do you use as cutters, 'cause I don't have matching round cutter either
second: could I get washers in any hardware store?

I'm sooo looking forward to the bowls tut :wo00t:

Thanks! I'm really happy to help I don't know why but I just love it! Thank you for the feedback, I try really hard to make my tutorials easy and understandable It's great to know that I achieved my goals!

I really want to see those plates for your donuts!

The big cap is from a perfume bottle and the little one is from a limp balm. I'm always going around people things to use as tools! I think that my sister hasn't noticed yet that I took the cap from her perfume

And yes, you can get the washers from any hardware store Unterlegscheibe auf Deutsch

I'll try to have the bowls tutorial ready soon!

I'm going around ppls stuff too to look what I could use as tools
now I need to find a perfume bottle and a lipbalm cap to match my washers watch out, family!
I've found those washers today, man there are many sizes to choose from
thanks for the german translation

I'd love to make some cups too, have you tried to make some?

Yes they come in so many sizes! I love it because you can use sizes to make all kind of plates... the one I showed here makes a great regular dinner plate. A larger one could be used as platter, a smaller one would be a saucer.

I don't know if you know it yet, but there's also many different shapes... I use funny washers to make different kind of plates I want to post something about it later, it's a bit more complicated but it looks really well.

You're welcome I think I haven't told you yet, but I've been studying German for two years now... it's my favorite language I can understand German fairly well, but writing it is still a bit complicated

Yes I've made cups! I have a great technique to make them, but it's still a bit raw... I can't make the handle strong enough yet, so it breaks really easy I'm trying to figure out a way to fix that, so I can post my cups here too! And maybe make a tutorial.

really? there are different shapes? I only found the normal round ones yesterday what different shapes are there? oh yes please post them

that's so cool that you're studying german is it hard to learn? I heard it's complicate with all the relative pronouns and the articles
sometimes I struggle with english 'cause the german syntax is sooo different to the english syntax my biggeste problem with english: I sometimes use the wrong words, 'because the translation german to english gives you sooo many choices, how do I know which is the right vocabulary
You're from mexico, aren't you? so your first language must be spanish, right? so german is your third language? (or maybe forth?) I understand a bit of spanish, italian and french too

I can't wait to see the cups when you've found a way to make the handle strong enough

There are like a million shapes There's one washer I absolutely love, I used it to make my Forget-Me-Not plate and I think that it makes the prettiest plates... but I don't know its name! I want to buy some more so I can make many plates at the same time, but I haven't found it yet and no one knows its name I'm trying to find it so I can make that tutorial and tell people exactly which washer to look for.

I love German, German music and so on, so it's not too hard to learn... the only thing that absolutely gives me headaches, is the articles. I have the worst memory ever, so having to memorize them all is a nightmare Other than that, I think it's a very beautiful language and haven't had problems studying it The syntax was a bit confusing at first, but it keeps getting easier

Yes, I'm from Mexico! So German is my third language You know... I think that you people in Europa have an edge, because you have a great chance to meet people from other countries and other cultures, because you're very close and bonded to each other. Most people I've met from Europe know or at least understand many languages. We hardly have the chance to meet foreigns here.

I'll keep working on those cups!

Gracias!
