Okay, a little misunderstanding on my part and went on a bad part. You see I went through someone's Deviant art favorites and your content was there. He's an adventure fan, and his responses toward me about Sonic Mania wasn't... well not negative, but was hating it because it was for classic sonic fans. I was only responding to him about the Cancellation of Archie comic and how he was strawmaning the whole thing from my point of view. He's MeltingMan234 and while I do understand the frustration. He was acting a little immature... sorry about that. And no I don't hate him. I just think there were flaws in his arguments.

They're afread of Sonic not being about their agenda. Looks at how Sonic Force looks remotely less childish then past games yet that's the only one people are going out of their way to criticize. In retrospect most of us are but after a while the whole "wait till it comes out before you judge it" thing kinda just flew out the window.

1) Big deal. Sonic's games are in the platformer genre, as is Mario's. And even if it was geared toward Mario fans, who cares? Mario games are GOOD (for the most part, anyway). And before you give me the whole "Sonic was Mario's rival" wet blanket excuse, TIMES HAVE CHANGED. MOVE THE FUCK ON.

2) Who the hell cares about good storytelling when your main character is a 5-foot-tall hedgehog whose blue and runs faster than the speed of sound? You think any kid--scratch that, any GAMER--gives a rat's ass about the storytelling when the main concept of the game is so far removed from common sense it's baffling?! Maybe if it was a game like Uncharted, where the characters and enviorments are meant to seem believable, I'd see the problem, but for god's sake. It's a Sonic game, and Sonic games have always had dumb storylines...And yes, I'm including the Adventure series.

And 3) No, an opinion doesn't make you childish. But making a stupid meme on a subject that's already dead as George Washington DOES. And before you say, "Why not just ignore this?", it's hard to ignore when every single goddamn Sonic fanboy on DeviantART shouts there divided-as-hell opinion on Sonic games past and present. And I don't even care about Sonic that much, I'm moreso a fan of SEGA's other IPs. So looking up other great SEGA art is hard to come by when 50% of these stupid memes flood the search results, the remaining 40% is disturbing Sonic fan character/fetish art, the final 10% is said good art.

That is what I am saying to you on the subjects you have brought up. If you're one of those people who don't like to read, here's a quick summary for each of your "arguments":

1) Who Cares?

What is this for an pathetic excuse for an Argument?

1) being a Platformer doesn't mean its Okay to copy Mario even back than to Nes times would only the games that took there own spin on the Jump and Run Formular survive and thrive like Megaman or CastleVania sames goes for Sonic who him self had a clear differentes to all of the competition when he was first released but instead of keep his own spin that make people love him to begin with does he now try to be Mario and this will just like with all Mario and Sonic Clones of days gone by like Cool spot or Bubbsy eventually be his end because he can't rival Mario at being Mario and Sonic fans usually like him because he is different from Mario so he will end up with no customer bast at all.

2)What kind of Logic is this only because there use a goofy art-style  for the Characters are there now not allow to have good stories that make the games for those that like them more entertaining while those that don't care can just ignore it and series like Adventure time or Steven universe are even goofier than Sonic and still come with praised stories and when the Paper Mario series dropped the Idea of good story telling did the whole Paper Mario fanbase mobilize to attack Nintendo Headquarters because it was a massiv step back from what there had previously and the same is it now with sonic no matter what you thing about the story quality is meaningless because this is just YOUR Opinion and is obviously enough not shared with a big part of the fanbase.

3)You are a Major hypocrite for saying that he is childish for making a meme expressing his opinion on the Internet when your whole argument so far was Just your Opinion is wrong My is right and now go way because I don't have any prove for any of the things I say.

And for the record, there is no "Wrong Opinion" or "Right Opinion". The definition of an Opinion is "a view or judgment formed about something, not necessarily based on fact or knowledge". Which means it's all based on someone's tastes and points of view.

If you don't like Sonic Lost World, that's fine. But you don't have to be an asshat about it.

As long as the game is enjoyable and I can actually pick up and play it, I don't give to shits if the storyline is serious or silly.

You don't care, but maybe other people do care about the writing. Everything is from person to person.
Besides, the issue wasn't just the writing; it was that Lost World resembled a Mario game, instead of being a Sonic game.

I mean I don't mean to shit on Forces, but OC's? really sega? Don't get me wrong, there are good OC's out there, but after all the years of the concept being made fun of, it's too late. 

Plus the likes of Silver and Tails not being playable feels like a big "fuck you".

eh I don't mind the, Rookie the Player, concept. If South Park: Stick of Truth and Kingdom Hearts X can do it, why not Sonic? It's trying to do something new... even if it's being overshadowed by recycled material and Classic Sonic hogging screen time.

Yeah, and I'll admit classic Sonic being in the game was a bit of an eh. 

Also the whole hero's like features would have been better if it wasn't with an OC...just saying Sega.

It doesn't look like there's much you need to achieve as the Avatar. The importance of the time patrol is immediate because you're not only protecting the memories of others but you're doing your best not to literally destroy history on a catastrophic scale. The random joe character of Forces looks so unless when he's outclassed by the two other hedgehogs and literally uses his abilities just like those two.

Not really because there's no real reason for him to be there as evident by how they shoehorned him in there and tried to justify it by him being from some other dimension and not the SAME classic Sonic from Generations but literally still the same character.
