*** This is technically a re-posting of this illustration. I plan to do so with all of my Potter art work building up (hopefully) to having some new stuff to share there after. Way back, when I first started this series, there wasn't going to be all these vignette drawings, but because I loved Potter so much, I wasn't content doing just one single illustration for each chapter - and thus these vignettes came about. Anyway, because they weren't planned, they've been sort of evolving as I went. I mean, all the art has been, but I think with this book I've found a sort of "happy spot" with how I'll be doing the drawings. They're on a different type of paper now than when I started, and I settled on a standard size to work in.

As for the drawings themselves - yeah, I'm really pleased with them for lots of the reasons just described. I think there's a nice variety and I'm pleased with the drawings - all the different gestures of the characters and scenes.
