I wanted sooo much to have this bat (yes, it does resemble a bat) in my collection but they don't sell it in my country . Instead of this I've got F-117A.

Zvezda F-117A was enough for me. I only bought it because of P.Y. Ufimtsev. Do you know this scientist?

I strongly recommend that you read and learn more about this man. All the stealth technology is based on the principles discovered by this man.

It's only a short extract from what I've written for 12 years. All my stories are in Russian, of course and I do't have enough time to translate them all, since there are lots of them.

Hi, Sir!
Awesome work you done here, I cant see a B-2 model here yet!
I want to ask you something about One of your big loves and aims in the life: planes.
Approximately one month ago, a Learjet 45 executive plane crashed in a street full of cars, relatively nearby to my house, ( just 3 minutes flying for airport approximation ) and everybody blame for it to the turbulence generated by a B-767 that was flying opposite the Leajet, who is carring the Vicepresident of Mexico ( Secretario de Gobernacion, thats equal )
A friend tells me a Learjet is a so nervous plane, to fast, not easy to handle and less of stopping, and they blame too a turbulence and not good drive for a inexperience crew.
Thinks that the place of the fall of the plane to only 3 minutes of flight to 200 knots, and that pass on my head, it makes me tremble with fear.
But I think planes are so safe, and controllers are doing a good work, always I have lived under the route of approximation of the planes to the airport, and I have never been frightened.
Till now.
What do you think about it?

TomCatDriver In reply to Sterne [2008-11-23 10:29:18 +0000 UTC]
it is true that the LearJet series does have some delicate handling characteristics, and a very narrow stall-margin. i remember one that crashed on takeoff due to just a thin layer of frost/rime ice on the wings that was not removed prior to flight! also, big jets, especially widebodies do generate a tremendous amount of wake-turbulence and wingtip vortices,it,s not a good idea for any smaller plane to fly too close behind one! i,m sure the aviation authorities of your country will take steps to see that something like this won,t happen again, nothing to be afraid of. a tragic accident, yes, but as long as everybody learns something from it,and does what needs to be done to prevent a repeat performance!

Sterne In reply to TomCatDriver [2008-11-25 03:33:51 +0000 UTC]
Oh yes, I think 757`s have a heavy wake-turbulence too.
Wow, very good explanation, Sir, thank you very much.
Always is better to ask to experts.

TomCatDriver In reply to Sterne [2008-11-25 11:08:44 +0000 UTC]
ANY big jet produces lots of wake-turbulence and jetwash, the A380 makes so much,it,s referred to in ATC radio transmissions as a "Super",and even other jetliners are advised to give one of those behemoths a wide berth!
