UPDATED 06-05-2016I've been meaning to update this tutorial for yonks using the more contemporary (and easier) method of making an MMD model hold a microphone for sometime but never got around to it till now. So here it is.

Yes it will.
This same method can be applied to any accessory that can be loaded into MMD. This is how you can make a vocaloid hold leeks, cellphones, guns, ice cream cones, fans, guitars or whatever.
The other way to make them hold things is when they are made into PMD models which are most often applied to objects that can be animated. Some vocaloids actually come with accessories that can be fix to them using the model manipulation sliders - these can (usually) be hidden away when not needed. A good example of this type are the K-ON girl models. All who come packaged with their own instruments (with the exception of Ritsu I believe - drum sets are hard to hide when not in use).

oh cuz i have akatsuki models and there is no bone in the acessory manipulation box that has to do with the hand, so i can't add mics

If it has a wrist bone you can attach the mic to that ... this way the mic will move as the arm moves.

.... just don't move the hand relative to the wrist or you could get some bizarre visuals ... then again he could be tossing the mic as he sings right?
