Description I guess a different take on GL, not too different though. I liked Jim Lee’s take on GL, the uniform was organic and alien, that was really appealing to me. I thought about how being a ringbearer would have a symbiotic relationship and how more exposure to the ring would cause the uniform to adapt to its wearer. So in the beginning, it would be very alien-like from its last host and then would slowly change to suit its new host. It allows the ring to be a character onto itself, that it remembers its hosts. Its just a thought…

I'm guessing this is Kyle right?

Nope. I mentally used Hal. I would think that Kyle's would be a little more......MORE, if that makes sense.

I guess so. It just looks a bit more like Kyle, to me anyway. Hal is actually my least favorite (but he still comes before Guy Gardner)

I hear ya. I just stuck with the standard for the redesign. There's a Soranik Natu somewhere in here. tsbranch.deviantart.com/art/So…

I see what you mean, it still looks pretty cool. Say, do you have any tips for using programs to color? I mostly use black and white pencil work, but I recently started coloring on the computer over the original sketch. So I just want to know if you have any good tips and tricks.Β

All I can tell you is how I do things (which is pretty basic, and took a fair amount of time to 'get') but I use straight up Photoshop for everything. I haven't drawn on paper in a while now (noth that I don't still sketch), so I first started to use as just background stuff and basics.

Then I started to working in full colors and then rendering. I combed over DeviantArt for tutorials and piece-mealed together what I do now. If I have any advice, its practice and use this vast network to YOUR advantage to get the most out of your art.

'Tis a good design, and a good explanation.

No problem. It explains how Hal, Guy, John and, my favorite, Kyle have different uniforms.
