Before Aren was ever born, his parents were involved in a sticky situation; though they'd fell deeply in love and were planning to wed, Dunia's Jungle Pride completely threw their plans aside. They demanded she come with them and leave Afua and the Mountain Pride behind so she could return home and marry her betrothed. Dunia refused, and tried to solve things peacefully, but her father only escalated the situation, even threatening to drag her back to the Jungle Pride against her will. The Mountain Pride, however, didn't take kindly to these threats, and war was threatening to break out between the two prides. To make matters worse, Dunia's beloved grandmother passed away during this trying time, and Dunia almost relented, afraid her pride would hurt or kill her newfound love and friends. That is, until she was found to be pregnant with Afua's cubs. Her pride, disgusted and believing she was now tainted, disowned her and pronounced her exiled from the pride. Though she was able to stay with Afua, it had ended up costing her family, and for that, she mourned.

Tama, Malka, and Afua, however, were quick to comfort her, and from their support and the support of the pride, Dunia recognized she was in a much better place than her old home, and she and Afua married just before the cubs were born. Aren was the youngest of the twins, and though future leadership immediately fell to his sister, Dunia and Afua always assured the two that it was never concrete, and should Amai want to step down or Aren wanted to step up, it would be allowed. Aren, however, had no qualms with this; he dearly loved his sister and could tell she was made for leadership. He, on the other hand, didn't like the idea of being stuck in a leadership role, and much preferred having the choice of adventure. Aren was also quite the romantic and charming cub, and all the older lionesses found his attempts to charm them absolutely adorable, and claimed he'd be quite the lady killer in the future. He had his first chance to try his flirtation tactics when they visited the princesses of the Pridelands Pride, Ramla and Binah, and though he failed, he was always upbeat about it, content being just friends.

Next is Aren, Amai's older brother with a knack for facial hair or all kinds. Coming up with his design was really fun, especially his funky eyebrows ^^

One more bio left till we are done with Gen 6, and after that I plan on going in depth into the world and how it works including scenarios/stories, the different prides, their histories, and fun facts, so I hope you guys enjoy!!
