For Jeanne D'Arc I decided to draw one of the suits of armour that were described as having belonged to the historical figure, but not the full plate one which is usually associated with her, so I went for the brigandine (or "coat of plates") she is also known to have worn.

The Technical Fairy wears the current uniform of the French army with insignia of the French Army Technical Corps and a Chief Sergeant rank. She also wears a country patch on both upper arms rather than only the left, the right one mirrored.
