Description A mere valley seperates Mt Hekla's lava flow from Landmannalaugar's rainbow of mountains. One may as well be standing between planets.

Landmannalaugar, Iceland

That shot was taken whilst I was standing on a lava flow from Mt Hekla in the Landammanalaugar valley of central Iceland. Yes it's real

The weather wasn't too great that day. When I went on the walk up to the lava flow was probably the best time of day, and one fo the few when it wasn't raining.
