How do you invert layer mask?

I have my lineart, I did the rgb thing in channel, then create new layer > add layer mask.... but now I need to invert where is the option for it?

I checked help as well but it doesn't exist.

Can anyone help please?

What do you do when you're shading white colors?

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Abuze In reply to AirbornePiggy [2009-07-09 08:11:51 +0000 UTC]

when i want to shade a brighter color i simply pick a colour and set its blending mode to "screen" that automatically brightens up the colour.
i you want wo play around you can try out the soft light or overlay etc. settings too.. simply take the one you like most.

cheers
adina

πŸ‘: 0 ⏩: 1

Abuze In reply to WitheringOctopus [2009-12-15 22:50:24 +0000 UTC]

thanks whenever i get enough money for a cintiq i hopefully won't have to draw by hand as much (my scanner is highly inconvenient) my problem with a bamboo fun is that you can't turn it or you get disoriented.

i has a question. D:

when you go back over the outline, do you mean the darkest shadow of the whole picture, or like, the darkest shadow for just the skin, just the hair, clothing, ect.,?

thankyou ^-^

I'm confused. Could you explain how to use the mask? I don't think I did it right... It's not coloring the outline but the black stuff....
