I absolutely loved your turtorial. I just got a tablet and I was like "I'm going to try it out~!" and although it was all fun and stuff, everything did not look very smooth. I gave up for the day, but then decided to read on some tutorials and found yours and immediately went back on it LOL. Although I find i find your method much easier and faster, I have a question.
Do you make a different layer for each shade / highlight? Like every different color that you use? Sometimes I am afraid to leave it all on one layer because if I mess up its hard to fix..
I guess that's my only question for now. xD

How do you pick your shadow/hilite colors? You have to take in account of ambient light and the color of the light source. Do you mix the light source color and skin color to come up w/accurate hilite? I noticed one side of face's hillite is more orangy/warm than the other. How do you account for this?

@Savcash, you have to download the image...
You're tuts are something amazing... I have been dying to learn how to do this stuff for ages, and everything I've looked up on google is for pros. Ty so much for taking the time to teach people.
Painting and coloring is something I've always been very horrible at.
