I have never done a portrait from scratch and then complete it like you said but if i ever wanted to try it im sure your tutorial would give me what i need. Awesome TUT!!!! good job

they're default Photoshop brushes; you should be able to find them simply by pressing that little arrow in the Brush icon...

That is so amazing, I just have to fave it. Though I don't use it, I will find a way to incorporate your tute into PSP... it will work. I will make it work. I will one day flourish with talent(even though I still suck).
