Wow, great tutorial. I've never tried painting in Photoshop, and as PS is my preferred program, it was heaps better then trying to figure out Corel Painter other then the 'oil pastels' and the 'blender'.

I need help bad! When I save a JPEG on Photoshop it makes the pic 2-3 shades darker than it actually is, anyway to correct this? THANKS!

Hey I'd check it out on my photoshop but.. I don't have it at the moment...
so from what I understand, you might need to set your proof colour to Monitor RGB, and you might want to try using a colour synchronising software to set colour space for your files.

Hmm. I've always done skin in grayscale, then added the colour after. To me, it seems "safer". doing all the colours on one layer is scary, I worry that I'll screw it up. Your style seems to be similar to a lot of really good artists' tutorials, though, so I think I'll try it out some time.
