A little XCOM fanart. I am so excited for XCOM 2 coming out in November that I had to do a picture with our favorite sweater wearing, gun waving, fire extinguisher deflecting, close range advocate (I jest), Central Officer Bradford and me as the Commander. After listening to all of the E3 sneak peeks I have a million theories of how we get our loyal right hand man back in the fight against the evil Advent, including him rescuing us! Firaxis has always been great when giving us great characters, I hope the sequel does the same.Again just something different for a change of pace. XCOM 2 is in production by Firaxis Games.

Do either any of those theories explain how your character remains unaged during the 20 year gap! 
I'm hypedor the sequel, heck the new take on the franchise still gives a similar freedom of the game as before where the commander is anyone who plays it, without needing to create an avatar and such.

It's good to come across someone who is equally imaginative as I am, in my headcanon (because I completed the game Firaxis! And yes it was on that setting that they say only 1.1% managed!) After the temple ship the aliens came in, knowing our potential (also we wrecked something that cost probarbly several Trillion dollars to build) The number was picked up by the council who took the decision to write off the project and 'distribute' its parts worldwide in hiding till we could be ready for a counter strike. Though the aliens moved in quicker and some stuff was lost, I know Bradford escped but the fate of my staff I wasn't sure on as I had to set the self destruct on the base and get out. Ironically my escape route prevented my rescue as I lied to everyone (knowing staff would have their minds read to where I could be) so my own plans were my own, but not before defeating a beserker muton in hand to hand combat (its my story ok!) and headed to a secret branch of the base where it host a underground submarine port and jettisoned off in a Xcom experimental sub dubbed 'leviathan' and escaped. Unfortunately at some point the vehicle failed and had to raise it to the surface where it drifted alone in the world's oceans for two long decades till one day chance decided...
That's my headcanon though I have to ask who betrayed you? I'm guessing it was the butler!
