ok I have a question? you talk about sketching with the "opacity jitter" on but what is the reason for that? what does turning it on do for your sketching? And which setting do you turn it on to cause i see fade, pen pressure, pen tilt, and stylus wheel? I guess thats more then a question huh Xp

I think it's important to mention that this is not a very realistic drawing or very technicly difficult so this tutorial is for beginners only.

I think she makes all of that pretty clear, and I wouldn't say this is just for beginners, or really for beginners at all. This process may be a simple concept but it's much much harder to master in actuality.
And very nice tutorial, aeterne. It was interesting to see all the brush presets you used, and that helped me a lot in itself!

Nice tutorial. have you ever tried using the Polygonal Lasso Tool when you are flatting? When doing it for comics it seems the best approach. It's time consuming, but you get a much more precise selection than the Magic Wand, without risking gaps with the Paintbrush.

yes, I was using lasso tool for some time, but I find paintbrush more precise for me (and I feel as I have more control over it). I guess it's the matter of taste
