Everybody! Meet Prowl, Autobot Military Strategist and All-Time Prick since 1984. The design for Beyondverse Prowl is heavily based on his Animated and Aligned counterparts, however, personality-wise, he'll be more like his G1 incarnation. Also, as you can see, Prowl, Smokescreen, and Bluestreak are all brothers in my series.

The gold Autobot-like insignia that Prowl has is the symbol for Transtech Division, Cybertron's pre-war police department.

Overview: Prowl is the Autobot military strategist. As such, Autobot Commander Optimus Prime keeps Prowl near at hand for his indispensable expertise. Prowl is quiet, competent, loyal, and possessed of almost endless patience. Prowl's dedication to logic and reason make him an excellent strategist, but not much of a socialite. He really doesn't tend to get along well with his fellow Autobots, many of whom find his strict adherence to military protocol stifling, and his uptight personality sure doesn't help matters. He does not react well to the unexpected, to the point that it can literally scramble his cerebral circuits.

Personality: Pragmatist. Calculating. Cold. Rule-bound. Prick. Just some words to describe Prowl, and that's by those he considers allies. As the Autobots' best military strategist, Prowl is Optimus Prime's indispensable right-hand man. He will keep at a task for as long as it takes. His dedication to logic and reason makes him an excellent listener, but he's not much of a talker. Prowl detests anything and everything that he sees as unorderly and is always seen following protocol. Despite his stern and serious attitude, he has a soft side for caring, encouraging, and supporting his fellow members, including his younger brothers Smokescreen and Bluestreak.

Weaponry/Equipment:
Acid Pellet Gun: Prowl's primary weapon that is capable of firing rounds of acid pellets at incoming Decepticons.
Missile Launchers: Prowl has two missile launchers mounted on each of his shoulders to fire at Seekers and other Decepticon fliers that are coming right at him.
Stun Baton: Prowl's secondary weapon used to stun rowdy Decepticons and Mercenaries.
Stasis Cuffs: Prowl always has a pair of stasis cuffs in his subspace storage pocket in order to keep Decepticons and criminals in their place.
Jet Boosters: Prowl has jet boosters on his back that allow him limited flight.
Weaknesses: Prowl can't deal with illogical actions-lemme rephrase: Prowl doesn't let himself deal with illogical actions. He's so stuck on finding a logical meaning that he sometimes forgets that he can be just as spontaneous or innovative as anyone. As it is, things like deconstructionism, intertextuality, even presuppositions can frazzle Prowl.

Full Bio (Updated): Originally built to bolster the Praxian Transtech Division alongside his younger brothers Smokescreen and Bluestreak, Prowl was transferred to Iacon early in his career as a police officer to help with crowd control and law enforcement in the planetary capital, which was quickly at the time becoming a frequent target of terrorist attacks committed by the rising "Decepticon" movement. Smokescreen would be shifted into security detail at the Iacon Hall of Records, becoming Alpha Trion's bodyguard, while Bluestreak successfully joined the Elite Guard under the command of Sentinel Zeta (who would later become Sentinel Prime).

Prowl was extremely proud of his role as an officer of law (later detective) and soon gained something of a reputation for his pragmatist and rule-bound approach towards things. While in Iacon, he was mostly partnered with Barricade, a no-nonsense and no-mercy enforcer who can be extremely aggressive and violent, though he had a certain sense of pride in his role as a peacekeeper. Despite their differences, Prowl and Barricade become the best of friends until Barricade abandoned Transtech Division in favor for a new life in the Decepticons. After Barricade's resignation, Prowl would be partnered with the famous Headmaster investigator Chromedome.

Following the enactment of the Decepticon Reigstration Act (a law proposed by Nominus Prime and Senator Proteus in order to monitor the Decepticons), the two were assigned to investigate the assassination of Senators Sherma and Momus, seemingly killed by Decepticons, however, they would eventually discover that the two senators were in fact Decepticon sympathizers who were against the DRA. Their investigation were led them to partner with Orion Pax, Alpha Trion's assistant archivist and leader of a new anti-government resistance group who called themselves the "Autobots", learning that the Senate was using the Institute to undergo shadowplay on registered Decepticons.

While at first reluctant and determined to keep Chromedome out of danger, Prowl was among the first Cybertronians to join the Autobots as they went on covert missions to assassinate corrupt members of the Functionist High Council, which were secretly funded by a few members in the Senate including Sentinel Zeta and Nominus Prime himself.

After the Sacking of Kaon and Nominus Prime's death at the hands of Megatron, the Autobots would be reorganized by Sentinel Prime as a counter-insurgency army when Megatron declared. Prowl became a member of Orion Pax's team-Team Pax. Team Pax would break away from Sentinel Prime's autocracy and briefly ally themselves with the Decepticons after Sentinel began aggressively cracking down on the Decepticon-affiliated city-states with the use of Omega Sentinels. Together, the Autobots and Decepticons attacked Sentinel Prime's forces. With Sentinel's defeat, Megatron betrayed the Autobots and began hunting them down, but his plans were halted by Optimus Prime, originally Orion Pax who was given the Creation Matrix of Leadership by a dying Sentinel Prime.

Prowl was at Optimus Prime's side as his military strategist and would later play several roles during the Great War.

Prowl was one of the select Autobots chosen by Optimus Prime to travel aboard the Ark to find the AllSpark, and ended up in stasis lock for four million years at the base of Mount St. Hilary with the rest of the crew. In the then-present day of 1984, a volcanic eruption reactivated Teletraan I, which rebuilt them. On Earth, Prowl continues to the calculating and rigid military policeman that he is as he patrols the streets of Central City, Oregon alongside the Autotroopers to report on any Decepticon activity.
