The LEAK in the title is misleading, it was an intentionally posted 2-minute clip, and not the full episode uploaded by accident. While I do agree with your review based on what we've seen so far (~3-4 minutes combined with all the previews), there are many other things that could go wrong in the episode. I'm not saying it will, but it could.

First of there is a leak? huh, well a week more won't do me any harm, perfer to wait it out. Kind of feels overhyped too. I guess it needs to be since it's a 100th episode, something that is special on it's own. But still I have hopes for good episodes, so far season 5 is doing well so I hope this one - despite feeling like being a convent of background characters - will proove to be as entertaining as all those that came prior to it this season.

Only time will tell I suppose, 6 days, so it's not that far now - is it? 
Still I find it kind of ridiculous for making a few week gap before airing it, however I am curious
about the viewership. "Make new friends but keep Discord" has so far the smallest viewership, probably because of the fact it was aired later than should, even though it was still highly enjoyable episode - perhaps even one of the most enjoyable episodes so far. I do wonder that despite the even bigger time gap this one will have the viewership at the level of all the previous episodes thanks to the hype and expectations - I guess it's gonna be a test for the fandom itself

I am not watching the leak. I'm waiting for it to get released. I was really hoping that it wouldn't get leaked, because the last time an episode got leaked, it severely hurt the viewership, and thus the ratings of when the episode aired. Don't get me wrong. After seeing your score, I am more excited than ever, but I'd rather wait until the actual release.

just finish watching it. Its dedicated to the bronie community. I was little worried on it due to a lot of mature like content but it seems they made a few changes to make it friendly material for little girls. Also I think Pron is mute.

They actually just took the most obvious stuff from brony and put them in a bowl, mixed it carelessly, overbaked it, coated with too much forsting and slapped on our faces.

I don't know about this episode... it doesn't really feel... special, but so far, from the previews, much of my skepticism has went out... but I'm not so sure. It just feels like a typical FIM episode, but with a different cast and more fan service. Hear me out:
1. A wedding... why is the 100th episode, a landmark, having a plot that sounds like it's going to be just another FIM episode. I don't how to take this, but when I first the plot, I thought a massively fan-inspired pairing is going to be wedded, but the previews say otherwise (unless that was wanted).
2. Some of the events just feel like it's there to please the fans. Why is the fainting gag played out like that? And why is that song played out like that? I can tell when it's a part of the story/important stuff (like Ditzy/Derpy doing stuff with the flowers, that's cool) and when it's just there to please the fans (the dub step).
3. There's nothing really present to make this stick out from the other episodes. The animation is pretty much the same, for the most part, and nothing really new or groundbreaking is done. Sure, Brony stuff, but... don't we have a lot of that in the other episodes?
Okay, maybe DHX is saving the best for the last, or keeping it hidden, like an adventure or new species of ponies... (Sea Ponies preferably), and I'm just blind... or maybe I'm missing something. So far, I'm not going to see this as special or a landmark... it's not looking bad, as in unenjoyable, so far; we're focusing on other characters, which is good (can show how other ponies can be complex as well). It's just that... it's not going to be looking special; it's just going to be another FIM episode, really.
Now, don't think of me as the evil FIM I hate ponies thing, I like the show... it's just that... this is probably going to not be a landmark episode for FIM. Hopefully you understand; i'm just voicing my concerns.

huh don't worry, I kind of feel same as you in certain aspects - no I haven't seen the episode yet, just sharing my overal feelings so far towards whole this business - the concept itself may feel special for many in the fandom, but I can't say I look foward to see an episode focused on background characters. It's simply because I don't have any attachment to them, it's not mane 6, spike or apple family or (at least) CMC where You know those characters and feel at least some sort of emotion to them - like or dislike. It just feels...I dunno very neutral. I just hope A: It will proove to be good, because in my book it needs moreΒ than just background ponies to be regarded as one and B: people in fandom will be reasonable towards it and not treat it like a holly grail

But in seriousness, I don't think this is going to be a bad episode, but it's probably going to be a forgettable one when compared to other 100th episode specials. Season 5 does seem to be coming out as the show I wanted in the first place, which is good... but now I have to wait five more years for another landmark.
