I think something in the browser or in dA has changed- the code doesn't work for me anymore.

nevermind, I just tried it and it doesn't work either
what I tried before finding this code I was using an invisible image (transparent png image with nothing in it) with the width I wanted to keep my boxes large. Maybe that still works

You don't have to put text or content, the code will only make the custom box wider.

Okay so I made one of my boxes wider (thanks so much by the way!)
but the image inside of it remains the same size. How do you make images display as large as the box is? Or close to it.
The image is a square by the way.

Hi dear, glad that it worked!
And are you referring to the background image or just the images inside the box? If you are talking about the bg image then you gotta create a bigger image and use it. And if you are talking about the image inside the content-holder box or something then you can check Tips&Tricks #8 here: Custombox F.A.Q. + Tips and tricks

Okay, so question. I tried this and worked great, but I wanted to add other boxes beneath that but they also stretch out and I want them to look normal. How do I only make one box stretch and the others to be normal?

Oh, I just added in the side by side boxes custom underneath the stretched to help fill up the space and use it more efficiently.
