Destiny gave her a puzzled look. ‘Runners? I’ve been on my own out there for two years now, but all I’ve ever heard is vague rumors…They’re like … smugglers, right?’
Claire lowered her voice and said: ‘Why don’t we go sit inside and talk some more. There’s a few things I wouldn’t like to get carried in the wind…tricky drifts around here, and a random little echo.’

Why is it that Claire reminds me of Sergeant Gray?! She’s lucky that from a certain perspective Destiny’s vocabulary is not as rich as Ana’s.

It was actually mrhungry56 comment, which reminded me that I’ve been waiting for Sergeant Gray to tell his tale for quite a while, and now John and Silk are holding my curiosity by the balls with these Runners, who are probably not smugglers at all!
