C.A. grilled Destiny for about an hour, patiently squeezing out of her bits of seemingly useless information she didn’t even remember having in the first place. ‘Before they even consider a move, the Freedom Fighters will want to know what’s in it for them. The more you tell me, the better my sales pitch. Trust me, girl, it’s gonna be all right.’
When that was over, he turned to Claire and said: ‘Think I’ve got all the info I can use. I need to reach the network now and get a ticket for one of the north gates. Might take a couple of days. I’ll let you know.’
And then he was gone…
Claire got up and briskly started walking towards her home. A little puzzled, Destiny caught up with her and asked: ‘Claire…What do we do now?’
‘Now, young lady… We wait.’

This concludes the first chapter, I am sorry this chapter took so long,my unexpected illness, then when I got out of the hospital I worked 13 out 0f 14 days,
so that's my story and I'm sticking to it
I am on Vacation now for 11 days so The work on chapter 2 "The Road South" begins now

Not working in the pace that suits you, will turn the fun into a burden.
However, I am glad the story is continuing and I'm curious to see how the next chapter will develop!
I like the illustrations again! They are quite dark actually, though they still deliver some good atmosphere and the rain in the right frame looks cool!

'Slow as hell' is sometimes better than rapid fire posting that no one can keep up with. I'd rather have a series unfold slowly so I have time to read it than to have my in-box filled with fifteen pages of a story all at once.

Good to se you are back and well! Enjoy your vacation. "Sales pitch" - I saw the set of best sales pitches today. There was entrepreneur event at the local market and some people made their company sales pitch while standing in the hole made to ice (and it was -15c). I think this town is crazy.

Interestingly, nothing is mentioned in the narrative about the girl in the right frame, and I cannot quite make out who she. Same as it’s not clear where that is taking place. Great panel nevertheless, and I hope some answers will follow.
