My 2nd watercolor tutorial.It might looks pretty long, because it's filled with many pictures to help you understand my process, instead of using a lot of texts.
Edit: Wet in Wet is : Adding wet colors on damp sheet of paper or an area of still-wet paint, and let them run out over the wet surface, giving soft-hazy effect

thats the whole point! if you dont add water first it'll create a strait and clear line.

Hi! I'm a beginner in watercolour. I was wondering how do you do rays of light like those from your picture 'Crusado and Briciu'? And also, do we have to wait for the first layer to dry before painting the shadow?

I use airbrush and postercolor, and 2 rulers.

How do you use the watercolor that comes in a tube? I bought a lot and don't know how to use it.

Squeeze them on the palette, moisten them with wet brush, and paint them on watercolor paper. wash your brush in water container after use.
You can try them on normal paper first, But I recommend you to use watercolor paper.

watercolor paper can hold water and paints better.
picture will turn out more beautiful than using copy paper.
while copy paper cannot hold any water or paints, It will get absorbed inside the paper fiber and get the paper curled up.

i'm new to watercolour and i have watercolour tube paints and i'm wondering how to use them properly. do you put a small amount on a pallet and wait for it to dry and then put water on the brush to use them?

You don't have to wait, You can use them while they are still wet.

This was incredibly useful and easy to understand. Thank you SO MUCH for taking the time to help others, showing them the techniques you use. So many artists feel like hiding their skill so others can't see it/copy it, but you have the confidence to help instead. This is my absolute favorite tutorial on DeviantART and I will come back to it often as I'm doing my own painting ^_^.

This is so awesome, I really love your work, i went through your gallery and added just about every single piece to my favorites, watercolor is my favorite traditional media, and I had no idea anything like this could be done so amazingly, , Im going to practice so much to become advanced.
I love how you pointed out the mistake with forgetting the hands, and then showed how you fixed it, it for 1) assured me you were human and 2) instructed how to fix mistakes,,,
