Mr. cheederian seems to have a job in Russia.
- and yes I'm a n00b with comics- suggestions and critiques are welcome!!!!
The everytime-need-to-clarify-things-message:
Cheederians are enormous FELIDs (lynx - oriental cat- tiger hybrids) - no NOT wolves!!!! And another also: hyenas are no canids/dogs/wolves whatever either. They are feliform carnivores, and are closely related to felidae and viverridae, so they are closer to cats (and thus cheederians) and civets+mongooses than to dogs!

yeps - but in this 'war' size doesnt really matter - but cheeds are pretty impressive anyway and that might scare the hyena's a bit. Althought they are often in large groups while cheeds are solitary hunters.

Huh, this kinda reminded me of the scene in TLK2 where Kovu is shown grown up for the first time xD
If anything, I'd say the speech bubbles could use just a little more contrast to set them apart from the background. Other than that I'm very curious how this goes on!

Hehe np - you don't have to say sorry XDD Sometimes I unconciously take over some concepts of thing I like...and sometimes it's a well known movie and then people recognize it - it's good that people make me aware of it so that I can avoid too much the same scenes if the plot is actually different

Those speech bubbles seem really cold with the transparency and the white letters. I think it's fitting to the words.
I like the middle panel the most.

Yeah poor Yves rarely, rarely fights. I don't know how but he simply can't be agressive - and he passes that through tp Noiro (but not to Viv and Nuca, who would defend themselves a bit better...). But yeah Yves turns into kitten-behaviour if he is frightened...So others often simply walk over him. His size doesn't help either. You should see Stian & Yves together, side by side...than Yves looks almost like a female O.o.

For being new at comic-making, I say these pages look fantastic. You have varied panels and panel set up, which is good - a common pitfall for new comic artists is making panels design/panel set up too uniform, which makes a page bland and stagnant.
The only thing I would critique - and this is kinda personal - is the transparent dialogue bubbles. I see tons and tons of dA artists use see-through bubbles and it's something I just... dislike greatly. Seeing the background and characters through the bubbles is distracting, and may even render the text unreadable. A common (and pitiful) excuse is that the bubbles are covering the characters too much. However, you do not have that problem - as I said, your panel set up is really good!
While you aren't abusing the transparency as badly as other artists, I still think you should look at using opaque bubbles. If you find that the white bubbles are a jarring contrast (a common issue of nighttime scenes) I recommend using a color other than white. A dull blue is a good choice for snowy, muted scenes such as this one.
So far, that's really the only thing I have to point out.

Thanks a lot! Yeah I'm playing around a bit and trying to make the page looking 'fluently'. But thanks a lOT for the tip! I have been hesitating a lot about it and was not at all sure what to do. I like transparancy in a way but I also agree about the disturbing effect and I've seen that it can work in some comics (like Off-white) but in most cases it is indeed rather messy. Your idea of making the bubbles solid but in relation with the background sounds great. Because I have something against the bright white bubbles - that is something I find a bit disturbing. I have tried solid blue ones and it looks nice - I just have to update it still. So thanks a LOT - I didn't thought about that option hehe!

Really? I think me too actually. But these hyeana's are closely related to the spotted hyenas in Africa. However, these ones live in the north and are therefore bigger ans have warmer fur.
