Description
Papyrus doesn't seem as thrilled as Undyne about his "hardcoreness." But can we talk about Undyne's house? What the heck is happening there? Is it alive, did Undyne suplex it into submission, did they sit down and sign an agreement that Undyne would be living inside it? Perhaps it's the Underground's hidden boss. Maybe it's Undyne's mom. I have no idea. Also why is half of it black? Is that the lighting? Where's the light coming from? UGH, THIS GAME MAKES NO SENSE!
... and that's why I love it

Btw if you want to make a comic dub of this, please go ahead! I totally encourage it. Just give credit to me and unrestedjade.

I love how wise Papyrus is in this. And how you managed to capture that SO well in his body language and his expressions. This is awesome.

So is Papyrus afraid of his own strength and is worried about killing his opponent? Fighting doesn't mean you have to end someone's life Papy, just defeat them till they stop, Does Papyrus know magic is more powerful than it looks.

could you explain please, pomposition of page, depends of number and size of frames? Or you planed such strange composition from the beginnig?

Heh heh... I gotta say the panel composition here was a bit wonky, I'd probably change it if I did it again. I did plan it from the beginning, but I put too much space in so it looks funny. The composition should depend on the number of frames and how much emphasis is being given to each frame; not all panels are equally important. I'm glad you're paying attention though.

Oooh, I like the way you did the thought bubbles! They're visually distinct from dialogue bubbles without being distracting. Good job on the expressions too, as always. I especially like the last two panels, with Papyrus gathering the debris that was the dummy into his arms, and very clearly imagining... something else.
I'm still learning how to do comics myself so I could be wrong about this, but something about the layout doesn't feel right, like, it sorta feels like there's too much space between some of the panels? The eye flow is perfectly fine, but all the white space is kinda distracting. Panel layout can be a nightmare to figure out, though. I wonder if it would help to make the background solid colors or shades, rather than just white? I know with some of the earlier pages, the black background tied the panels together more, even when there was large amounts of blank space, like the first page of chapter 2... though I know you're using colors for the mood, too, so maybe that wouldn't work. All the other pages that used a white background have been fine though--this is the only one where the blank spaces between panels really stood out to me.
OH GOSH I'm sorry about that @___@;;; let me know if you'd rather I not point out stuff like that--I wasn't sure.
I really love your use of color! Everything in the panels themselves feels unified--it really feels like the characters are part of the scene, rather than just slapped onto the background. The shading you do with solid blacks looks really nice, too--I hope I can get my colors to look nice like that sometime!

I was wondering myself how to do the thought bubbles... In manga you see rectangles or even no bubble being used to show thoughts, while colored comics use "cloud" bubbles... none of those seemed right to me, so I'm glad the way I went with works. Expressions take the most time to draw, but that's because I try to get them just right, so it's great to hear it was time well invested.
Heh heh heh... Yeah I think I botched the layout on this page. At the time I was thinking that the extra space would make it more artistic or freeflowing or whatever, I don't know, but it looks just plain funny when I look at it now. At least I learned how NOT to do layout. Making mistakes is an important part of getting better, so at least I'll be better in the future. And thank you for the honest feedback, truly; it's infinitely more valuable than purely positive feedback.
Yay you like my colors! I must have gone back and adjusted them 5 times before I thought it looked fine. Colors are weird.

I guess different styles of comics use different things for thought bubbles... I'll have to find something that'll work well for my comics.
I'm glad that helped a little. XD; I was worried I had upset you or something for a bit there.

Awesome! I've seen a few other adaptations, and there are a couple really good ones. I feel like I should avoid reading them though, because I don't want to copy their interpretation when I get to certain scenes.
