Flowey needs to stop smiling all the time. In the game he's always changing expressions, but I feel like he doesn't want to mess with Papyrus so much just yet. I mean he's totally screwing Pap over in every way possible, but in the game it's like he already kinda hates you but not really and here he actually likes Papyrus, and he's just always ecstatic to be doing new things with his favorite toy. So his darker and perhaps more malignant facial expressions will wait for later.
Also I just want to say that that very last panel of Pap's face took like 4 hours to get right. I swear I was going insane trying to decide how the heck you'd draw his features up close.

He just keeps getting bigger and bigger...Papyrus looks so uncomfortable with those furrowed brows, ahah. A far cry from his easygoing expression in pages 1-2.

I use Photoshop for the art in this comic. For linework I use the "Conte" brush from this toolset: artsammich.blogspot.com/2013/0…
For shading I use the basic round brush and the "Soft Oil Pastel" brush in the Photoshop default brush pack "Dry Media Brushes." Hopefully that helps

I FINISHED READING THE ACTUAL FANFICTION AROUND A WEEK AGO AND I'M PUMPED TO SEE YOUR INTERPRETATION OF THE SCENES AND STUFF

You can really tell that Flowey is very happy and excited here. He clearly likes Papyrus... for reasons he shouldn't. he is also disconcertingly hUGE GOOD GRIEF (like, I think his main flower does grow huge when he lets himself grow out of the ground like that, but it's still kindof freaky to see). Though in the second-to-last panel, am I right in guessing there's also the barest hints of a threatening expression there?
Poor Papyrus! He looks scared, but he also looks very, very tired. I like the way he leans away from Flowey in that seventh panel.
The emotion in that last panel is really complex... I can imagine why it would take you ages to do. I'm sensing it's a mix of weariness and fear, but also some... steadfastness? Like, he still views Flowey as his friend at this point, but he's very, very confused as to why all of this is happening so suddenly and why Flowey is doing this. That, or he's trying very hard to not appear afraid, since Flowey told him not to.

I feel like it is the right choice, to let Flowey smile all the time in the first chapters. I always imagined him to smile a lot in this fanfiction.
