Description
A painting inspired by ~sparkyevil 's Myrmidon Sketch .So Morigar (the orc, who belongs to *Enydimon ) thinks this is an easy win, and so does everyone else except for Hagler (the bugbear). Morigar's reasoning is that Myrmidon needs a booster seat to be able to sit level with him. The orc and the dwarf agree to wager one mug of Thungar's Stout on the contest, the others put down gold on the contest. The barkeep is watching over both to make sure Witt (the goblin) doesn't pocket any of it while the attention is on the match.
Any guesses on what happens next?

The dwarf's shoulders begin to slacken, and twitch, his elbow grinding into the 'old oak's' surface, and knuckles diving for the table in spurts. Strong, this orc is strong but something is wrong, he can smell it, he can... Taste it?
After glancing to his empty mug deftly and seeing a blotch of sticky grey ooze on the lip, the realization hits as blindingly fast as Moradin's hammer rings against the anvil in His eternal forge: Poison! Charred Ghoul in his ale!
"So that's how this Morigar operates, weak and arrogant!" Myrmidon muses grimly, and decisively delivers a bruising kick to the bottom of the orc's kneecap, causing him to tumble off his stool to his the right, almost thrown down into the floorboards by the remaining burst of power in the dwarf's strong axe arm.
"Fool is he who trusts on poison to deal with a dwarf!" Myrmidon spits towards the flabergasted onlookers. Hagler the hobglin chuckling heartily in his corner of the crowd draws a spiteful glare from the swollen face of Morigar... He doesn't have long to look before the echo of metal coins reverberates off the floor as several pieces fall from the grasp of the goblin, Witt, when he scrambles out the door, clutching the gambler's bag of gold. It doesn't take a minute for the entire tavern population to chase the goblin to the barkeep's goat's eastside fence. Greeted with a push of fresh brisk night air, smelling of freshly dug earth, Myrmidon is refreshed and begins leading the tavern folk's charge. Cornered by the crowd, and being quickly advanced upon by an angry dwarf followed by an angrier orc, Witt tries to squeeze through the fencespokes. Struggling through he spills the coinage and several small flasks marked with the symbol of the Weeping Skeleton, a well known necromancy guild dealing with nefarious potions and poisons working out of the area, falls from his sidebag. Looking up from the flasks, the dwarf sets his steely glare firmly on the goblin and makes a dash for it, diving for Witt's legs and tackling him down into rough pasture. Grinning wildly he savours the moment when the squealing goblin realizes his leathery face is planted perfectly in a pile of mushy, reeking, fresh goat manure...
..."Turns out Witt admitted he was poisoning Morigar's challengers for a while now, trying to up the stakes and get a bigger pot going to pilfer from by selling his 'undefeated' status to my patrons." The barkeep grumbles to the orc and dwarf,
"In any case, I'm pretty pleased the fight over the gold happened outside instead of in here... By the way, who really won that arm wrestle anyways?".
Morigar and Myrmidon set their sights on eachother and signal the other over to the well stained challenge table rubbing their palms in anticipation for an honorable match.
"We'll see." the dwarf says as they clasp hands and slam their bitterhoney ale adding yet another tale to stain the surface of 'old oak'.
