Here is Xenovore for He did this awesome Xirugan [link] after I mentioned wanting to draw Xenovore. Say I had to finish mine up. I know it is not quite correct, but it was my first time with this interesting beast. The spikes on the arms and legs were difficult and I'm not sure Xeno still has the spines on the back or not, but I tried. I hope I at least got the flavor right. I hope Gregole likes it.The home scanner didn't capture all of the hair detail so I decided to give it some punch with a sepia tint. I may take it inot the office and scan it at a higher resolution as well. When I get some time I want to try adding some quick color as well.

It is just pencil on paper, but I gave it a sephia tint in photoshop

Actually, besides the presence of the spines, this is damn-near perfect.
The key features are all there. The face - the most important part - is prettymuch perfect in every way. The mandibles and feeler thingies look very natural and very functional.
The limbs are indeed a little small, but with the angle, it's hard to tell. But I tend to envision Xenovore as being almost twice as tall as Rygama on two legs, while his torso is about the same size. Gives him a spidery quality.
The limbs themselves, besides the size, are perfect as well. They keep the straightness of all the bones, while keeping the joints bloated with muscle.

So the spines are gone, I wasn't sure.
Ya, I know the limbs are a bit short. In my initial rough sketch they were longer, but when I drew the body I made it to big, which made the limbs look shorter.

The sepia tint works very well, too. Gregole said that the limbs on my try were too short and thick, so this one should be near perfect!

Oooh, awesome. You really nailed the look of those terrifying hands and feet. I think the limbs in general might need to be a little more muscular though, as Ren suggested. Other than that, it looks pretty spot-on to me. Love the sepia tone.

Thank you and thank you for the fave as well. I'm not sure about the limbs, I'll wait and see what Gregole says. I've seen Xenovore drawn differently and i'm not sure what his current thoughts about it are. I'll try to update the design in color version if needed.

Thanks. Actually the limbs were bigger at first (proportionally), but I made the head and body to big, so the limbs seem smaller. However, the version of Xenovore I looked at the most (back when it was Wendigo) had skinner and longer limbs. I tried to do something inbetween.
